A.N.: I know I already said this in the previous A.N., but thanks so much for everything :)
Also, I'm still sick (in case you wanted to know), which means, like I said before, I don't have to go to school, giving me more time for this story.
On the downside, if colds could kill, I feel like this one would -.-
I can't stop coughing and my throat hurts, but oh well, all good things have a price.
Disclaimer: I don't own Percy Jackson or any other characters.
Before: I stand silently on the tree branch, just like when I was first introduced to the camp.
Should I go and show myself to them? I would feel a bit guilty if they were disbanded because of me. However, another part of me thinks, No. Why should you go back to that hellhole? Besides, what have they done for you? Other than be absolute pricks to you, of course.
I put my hands over my face and grit my teeth as the two parts of me start to snarl at each other.
What do I do?
Now:
Percy's P.O.V.
I groan quietly in annoyance, feeling like I would regret my decision immediately.
I spread my wings out wide, and, just like when I first met them, I fly up, and then down quickly, slamming onto the hard dirt ground with my feet.
This thoroughly surprises the three Hunters and Artemis, causing them to raise their bows instinctively.
I chuckle and say, "Wow, dejavu."
My hood was still on somehow, even after the hard landing.
"So, did you miss me?" I ask, and even though I said it in a casual, almost uncaring tone, I was tense and hesitant on the inside.
What if they tell me to leave? What am I going to do? Does Thalia still hate me? What--
My thoughts are cut off by Thalia, who strides toward me. Oh no, I am so dead, was my only thought as continues toward me with a murderous look in her eyes.
Well, goodbye cruel world...
Thalia's P.O.V.
I stop about two feet or so away from him.
"PERSEUS JACKSON!" I scream at him.
"Uh, hi, Thals." He tries for a smile.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???"
"Yeah... Um, nice to see you too?" He says nervously, backing away slowly.
"You - you - URGH!" I run toward him and close the remaining distance between us.
Percy's P.O.V.
Okay, here it comes... she's going to murder me.
However, instead of murdering me, she gives me a bear hug, sucking all the air out my lungs.
"I - what? Thals?"
I look down at her and realize that she's crying. This scares me, because Thalia never cries. She's the type of girl who would literally laugh at death.
She sniffs angrily and snaps, "Just saying, not all reunions are happy. Some are painful. As in physically."
"Huh? What do you--"
