*The Red heads*
To be honest, I wasn't a damsel in distress, I was a totally freaked out girl in some world that was actually a video game. Now, I didn't worry because something about this place made me totally calm down. I mean, it felt like a Hawaiian vacation instead of a kidnapping. The place just didn't seem dangerous at all. Hello, there was a little kid.
Plus, I play wizard101, so this outta be easy. I mean, the video game should be exactly like this, right?
"What truth?" I asked Jake.
He sat there, not saying one word.
"Hello? Earth to bus kid. Yeah, you. What truth? I mean, I can't believe the fact I'm on a land in a video game." I chuckled.
But Jake did not say one word. Was he mad at me for asking so many questions? I mean, the boys at my school have some anger management problems. Well actually, that was EVERY boy I knew. Peter had problems, every boy did.
It's a god given curse in New York city.
But this Jake kid didn't really have that problem. What I could feel from him, was worry. That's right, he was worried. I could feel it! He just had the face and everything. But why would he be worried?
"So this is the 'Massive Fantasy Palace', huh?" I said. "I used to play Wizard101, and I kind of toured this place like, twenty times." I said. Jacobus grinned at me. "Well, then go explore. I'll be outside, in the dungeon." and he left. Immediately, I ran up the stairs. I looked around and found this big room. It was just one big... room. There were two big curtains one was the one I just walked in through, and the other was across the room.
I remember this room! I went to one of my friends house and it was a throne room. There was star wallpaper and a very nice cobblestone floor with stars. then on the wall in the middle of the two curtains, there was a staircase, and a bed in front of it. No, the bed wasn't blocking it, you could walk around it.
There were red banners everywhere that said "Ravenwood", the Wizard101 school. I touched one of the banners. It was soft and fuzzy. I twirled around the room. It was huge. I twirled until I was across the room, and was standing in front of that curtain.
On Wizard101, the curtain was fake, and was just decoration, and you couldn't go inside it. I opened the curtain and gasped. The room was just like the Spiral room, as I called it. The Spiral room was this room in the Commons, that had a huge diamond hanging from the ceiling. The reflection displayed the Spiral Galaxy, and all the islands.
I walked in and touched one of the islands. I cupped my hands to hold it, but it went straight through. I went back out and closed the curtain again. I closed the curtain on the staircase, too. I made the mistake of turning around, because right at my feet was THE MOST craziest thing I've ever seen.
It was a cat, with bat wings, and a squirrel tail. The ears even had little hairs at the tips. "Wow." I said, leaning down to pet it.
"Well, how are you doing?"
I jumped away and fell on my butt. "Whoa. You can talk?"
"Yup. My name is Xena, Princess Xena. I am the desert beast of the palace."
Her voice sounded like Luna from sailor moon.
"How can you talk? Did ya ever think that was a bit crazy?" I said. "What are you, anyways?"
"I am what is known as a desert beast," she said while putting her paw on her chest, "thank you very much!"
I don't know how she could talk, really. It seemed like something very unnatural in Wizard101.
