                ~~~~~ Adriana + Amy - Teach my heart how to live ~~~~~
    "You do realize that you are putting salt in your coffee, right?" Adriana went around to whisper in her colleague’s ear. She did not however expect the aftermath of her actions. She laughed as Amy realized her mistake and hurried to put the salt down only to drop bottle and have it break. Both women stared at the remaining salt particles spilled all over the table.
It didn't go unnoticed by the brunette how Amy inhaled a sharp breath when realizing who had caught her error. Adriana didn't know what to make of the girl's action since they have yet to actually have a human conversation with each other. It was most definitely not on Adriana's part. She wanted to talk. She needed to talk to the nurse. She could barely even breathe nowadays. But of course the girl ignored her like one would a deadly plague. She did not like it but she respected it, even though every time she was ignored; a part of her was brutally injured.
"You also realize that you just earned yourself seven years of bad luck." Adriana didn't know whether to help the girl or just stand in place and watch her suffer. Either way, Adriana was having such a nice internal laugh wanting the girl to also suffer the way Adriana had suffered. She was indeed enjoying the sight of the nervous girl.
“I have had bad luck ever since you came into my life”. Amy murmured to herself as she angrily picked up the salt shaker and dusted the salt into her hand. Adriana glared at Amy from behind hoping the girl would get the message but Amy never showed any expression indicating she did. Instead, Amy made her way to the trash and threw the salt with unnecessary force. She ended up spilling most of the salt out of the bin. Amy then cursed the main problem out not noticing that the woman was right behind her. She continued to curse herself out for letting Adriana get the best of her.
“Stupid fucking Adriana with her fucking charming attitude, her shitty personality, and her fucking amazing beautiful face.”
"Hey I didn't even do anything." Adriana heard only her name and the string of curse words which immediately made her defended herself. She actually hadn't done anything that she knew of. She had just stepped in the break room when she saw Amy putting salt in her coffee which she thought was strange, something anyone in the hospital could have pointed out.
"What do you want Ade?" Amy said defeated as she walked passed her boss and grabbed the broom along with the dust pan not wanting to be bothered any longer. She let the nickname slip. Adriana smiled missing the way the young girl said her name.
Amy was mad at herself. She had been careful not to call the head nurse by the given nickname. She didn’t want her mind to wonder certain places but found it impossible to get through to such thoughts. She closed her eyes trying to take away the previous thoughts of almost all their past encounters. She was fazed. She blamed it all on Adriana. Everything that was going wrong in her life was because of one person. It had just been one person behind it and that person was Adriana.
Amy didn't want to give her boss such power though. Adriana had already taken so much out of Amy that she did not want to give the woman she loved any more control over her life. Every action she did Amy did thinking of Adriana. She spent an extra hour in the morning trying to find the right outfit that might impress the one person she actually wanted to impress. It was more than disappointing to her when Adriana did not even look twice at her.
