“You two know each other?” I breathed. They both nodded as they stood next to each other. Roland turned to Damian “What are you doing here?”
“Aria is a college friend. I needed somewhere to stay” He lied.
Roland laughed “College? Damian Jeogri going to college? Yeah right!”
Damian kept a straight face “Maybe I’m different now.”
Roland took Damian’s serious look into consideration “Yeah maybe…”
Roland turned back to me “We haven’t finished this conversation. If you want me to stay I will… I have till the end of this week to decide.”
I nodded as he turned to Damian, shook his hand before walking away.
“All in the past right” He commented sarcastically as he walked into the house.
I sighed “Damian, it’s really not what you think”
He turned around and raised his eyebrows at me.
“Okay maybe it is what you think but it’s not my from my side, it’s all him” I admitted.
Damian smiled at me and lightly held my hands “its fine.” He pulled me towards him “Soo… I was thinking. I have known you for longer than a few weeks now and we have never been out.”
I smirked and squinted my eyes “Damian Jeogri, are you asking me out on a date?”
Damian laughed “Yes Aria, I am.”
I pulled away from him and crossed my arms “You got to ask properly”
He raised his eyebrows “Seriously?”
I nodded “Yes seriously”
“Okay Aria… Will you please do me the honour of going on a date with me?”
I stepped back “Hmm, I am going to have to think about it”
He grabbed my waist “Very funny” then pulled me closer “I was thinking something like a posh expensive restaurant… that is quiet so none of your fathers enemies see us”
“I thought you hate posh expensive restaurants” I commented. He shrugged his shoulders innocently “Okay, what about Nandos and then a movie at home?”
I smiled “Perfect”
“This is the first time we have actually properly got along” Damian commented as we were in the car driving back from Nandos.
I laughed “Yeah, I guess it is.”
As Damian parked up, we both noticed Roland walking up to the door.
“You may have spoken too soon” I commented. Damian looked over at me, “We aren’t even properly together so I have no right to have a problem.”
I sighed, trying to ignore that comment, what are we then? Just a pile of nothingness? I got out of the car.
“What are you doing here Roland?” I asked as I approached the front door.
“I’m not here as a friend” He replied sternly “Damian... Can we talk?”
*Damian’s Point of View*
I nodded as I followed Roland to the side, Aria went inside the house.
“You know I never ask questions Damian. But from when the guy’s information I just gave you turns up in dead…” He explained.
“I understand. I had nothing to do with that, I haven’t even gone to see him yet” I lied. “I was actually just going to do that now.”
“I really hope you had no hand in this Damian. This may be the one thing that I can’t get you out of” He replied.
