*Chapter 25* Wrong Girl
“You really should get some rest; you have been up all night.” Edward, the old man who allowed Damian and I to hide out in their house for the night. I looked towards the window, it’s bright now, I was still sitting in their living room by the fire, and I don’t know how I spaced out for a couple of hours… I don’t know what I was even thinking about but I managed to spent the whole night by the fire while Damian remained upstairs, clearly giving me some space.
“Go upstairs and get some sleep” Edward said. I stretched slightly before standing up “Thank you but we really should get going”
“You are more than welcome to stay another night, both of you two haven’t had a wink of sleep” He replied. Damian didn’t sleep either?
“Get a couple of hours before heading out” He added. I nodded as I yawned, I really was tired. I dragged myself upstairs and walking into the bedroom, Damian looked up at me as he lay on the bed but as I looked away, so did he. I placed a sheet down on the floor and was about to lie down before he called out to me “Sleep on the bed.”
“I’d rather not.” I replied. He stood up “I didn’t mean with me. Sleep on the bed; I’ll lay on the floor.”
“I’m fine.” I replied. He shook his head as he came and stood in front of me “You’re… p- you should sleep on the bed, I’m fine on the floor”
Not allowing me to protest, he laid down on the sheet. I sighed before getting onto the bed.
“Thanks” I thanked him before turning to my side to fall asleep.
I stretched as I awoke from my sleep, I looked out towards the window, and the sun was still shining so I might have only slept for a couple of hours. I looked down to see that Damian was gone. Where did he go? As I got out of the duvet, the en suite door opened to reveal Damian standing half naked with a towel covering the important bits. He was using another towel to dry his hair, as he saw me he threw the towel over his shoulder. His six pack was fully on show. I reluctantly put my hands over my eyes to cover them “Put some clothes on please”
He laughed lightly “What? You have seen this sight enough times.”
I rolled my eyes under my hand.
“Okay, relax.” He replied he walked over to the other side of the bed and grabbed his clothes.
“You can move your hands away now” He said. I moved them away and slowly opened my eyes, scared if I see that sight again, I will end up not wanting to let him go. He walked over to the window and looked outside “We should go”
“Where are we going to go?” I asked. He didn’t turn around “Home, I guess”
I stood up “Home? Are you kidding me? They are going to know to look for me there.”
“They don’t know where you live Aria otherwise they would have been there months ago” He replied “Let’s go before it starts to get dark again.”

As I opened my front door, Lola and Sara ran up to me, hugging me.
“Who were those people?” They asked. I looked up to see Daniel and Jay emerge from the front room. I pulled away from Lola and Sara “I have a lot of explaining to do but for now can you just trust me?”
“Trust you? We were just attacked and hunted down by people that say they want-“Sara stopped and then looked at Damian.
“Its fine” I assured her “He knows.”
