Episode 21: Past That Haunts Me
~~~~~1-hour passed~~~~~
“You know…for protection, it’s acting more like a prison,” complained Jason. Angela had her back up against the door; Jason sat on the edge of the bed, while Charles and Dek sat on the floor in addition to Amy who was pacing.
“I’ve been thinking. We probably have to wait till the sun comes up. You know, until Halloween is over,” Amy thought out loud.
“Can’t you do something super witch?” asked Dek.
“Like what?” Angela scolded.
“I don’t know. Make the sun come up or something,” he answered.
“It’s not that easy homie. It would be better if I had my friends here. Then I could transform—”
“Wait, transform?” questioned Jason.
“It’s a long story. The point is that without them, my powers are half of what they usually are,” Angela said to them. Then it suddenly hit her. If all of this occurred a year ago…did that meant that the people in this very room no longer on this Earth? Or did the twins have a deeper agenda in sending her here at this moment with these people.
“Amy, you going to be okay?” Charles asked.
“I don’t know if I’ll ever be okay. Sammy was my roommate, the one person that took me under their wing and introduced me to this campus life.” Angela looked over at her and couldn’t help, but to relate.
“I…I know the feeling. All too well. A umm… year back, before I ever knew what or who I actually was. Me and two of my best friends were attacked by something evil. Jackie was attacked first. Before I could even do something, that bastard took her life right in front of me. And I was next. But Jassy pushed me out of the way and took the hit instead.” Tears started to well in her eyes; they finally fell down weighing heavily like coins upon Amy embracing her with a hug.
