I woke up this morning earlier than usual, I glanced back at the clock and it showed 4:53 Am, Usually I would be up around 6 am but it looks like I got enough sleep for today.
Since I had half an hour to get dressed up for the following day.
I sighed remembering of whatever drama happened yesterday I was really surprised When Alpha Josh protected me from his own son and ordered everyone to leave me alone.
That never happened, he never abused me physically or even mentally, but then he never stopped others from doing it.
He wouldn't stop them yesterday but he needed me to finish everything for today, The Moon Goddess is coming after all.
The Moon Goddess... The Goddess who created werewolves, She is a werewolf herself, the strongest, most powerful werewolf, I wonder what would she look like, I have heard many stories of her from my mother back then when I was small, she used to tell me about her brave and strong role, oh and well now she is coming to look for her mate, again, after every twenty years she comes back down to Earth in search for her mate.
I have heard many stores about her mate, and the one I feel would be appropriate is no one's but my mother's she told me that the legends said that the chosen wolf will give birth to a human child but then the wolf will die, and that child would grow up in all of his or her glory, the child will have each every ability that others werewolves have, except one, It won't have ability to shift until he/she finds his/her mate.
That child is the mate of Goddess, and it's also said that, that human child would be the second most powerful Werewolf after the Goddess herself in the surface of this planet.
Sometimes I like to dream that I am that child because I am adopted and I haven't shifted yet, But then I remember that I'm just pathetic, useless little girl who can't protect herself.
The Goddess mate is someone who is strong and powerful, Probably some Alpha or Beta or what if it is Derek, and the memories of him haunted me again, I shook my head as I pushed all of my negative thoughts back.
I look at the clock again and saw that it was 6:35 am. Shit! I need to get up and make breakfast!!
I jumped out of the bed, got dressed well I wore nothing much fancy but a simple blue ripped jeans and a white crop top and I did my hairs in a ponytail, as I wore my white converse and then with a final glance at my reflection Infront of me in the mirror I made my ways out of my room and down in the kitchen, I started making breakfast and after I was done, I made lunch, I made more food then usual because of the guests.
Shortly after I was done everyone woke up and started preparing for the day, I could hear others whispering.
"I'm wondering what does she look like. "
"Do you think The Goddess's mate is someone from our pack?"
"I bet the Alpha's son Derek is her mate, he is strong and he will be the next alpha soon..."
For some reason, when I heard that Derek could be The Goddess's mate, I felt... Jealous?? Anger?? Possessiveness??, What the hell is wrong with me?,
Eva calm down, breath Eva breath my inner self contained me as I again tried to push back those thoughts but I couldn't, "They're here!!" My thoughts were then interrupted luckily by someone's yelling. Everyone ran outside except me, I so wanted to see The Goddess too, but I knew that I will be in trouble if I do so, and somewhere in my heart I was happy for her arrival, my heart started to beat as fast as it could, I didn't know what was happening, I felt like my soul is back in my small useless heart, but then I remembered that I was useless and I cannot meet her, she is all I can only dream of, I can't meet her, I can't see her and that was my place.
I was about to go back to my room up when something caught me, It smelt something beautiful, It was a mixture of vanilla, orange and cinnamon, I followed the smell wanting to know the origin of the smell, I went outside and saw everyone from the pack standing with there heads bowed and they were kneeling with there right hand placed on the left side of the chest, The only one who was up was Alpha Josh, he was talking to someone but I couldn't see who it is as there back was facing me.
I think its a woman, next to her on the right hand side is standing a man, and on her left side there was a woman, But I still couldn't see her face, I tried stepping closer to them, I pushed a couple of people earning a growl from them.
Finally when I was close enough, I looked at the woman, who is still far away from me, Suddenly she turns around and looks at me, Our eyes met sending me 1000 volts of electricity and I felt like I was going to faint, Her eyes were piercing green and were beautiful she was tall with well defined body.
Then I heard the voice inside my head screaming 'Mate! Mate! Mate!!' Next thing I know is feeling the pain inside my chest, The pain I never felt before, I started screaming and then I felt someone holding me so I don't fall, I look up and saw those beautiful green eyes hovering above me I was then in her arms she held me closer, sending me waves of shocks.
