Sarah's Pov
"Sarah she is going to shift so I am taking her to the woods. Both of you, we are going to stay here for some more days, prepare for the stay" Kate ordered, as she carried the girl somewhere In the woods until she disappeared.
I sighed knowing that it was in her blood to care for the people surrounding her, but for the very first time I saw her this week it was like she is in overpowering pain.
"Don't worry she will be fine Sar" Ethan said assuring me, as I composed myself back to my all seriousness, "Alright then Alpha, as the Goddess ordered, we will stay here for some more days" I said to which he nodded "Off course ma'am, its an honor to have you here" he said.
"Right, I need to check the securities then" Ethan said to the Alpha and then he turned to me "And Sarah you can rest if you want, I need to make some calls for the security purposes, I don't believe them, till then why don't you just go and check there rooms, and if you ever need me then just call me okay." he said to which I smiled and nodded.
I don't know what good things have I done to have such a good mate and a best friend.
I was interrupted by the Alpha "Ma'am, my wife would show you the rooms, and just call us if you want anything" he said as I nodded and then I was guided by the Alpha's wife, and she wasn't like the Alpha and his son Derek in fact she was all good polite at the same time she was a pleasure to be with.
We both talked on random things as she introduced me with this place and informed me of some things.
(After few moments)
After I checked everything out we came back to our usual place, as now Ethan was with me and we were having a conversation about the security set up, as our eyes caught a wolf which was way to different from us, it was not like any other wolf I have seen until now.
Ethan shifted to his wolf form as he sensed danger, he paced back and forth until the Blue wolf growled against Ethan almost closing the small distance.
Ethan was about to jump when we heard a "Stop" from Kate, she came to us and that actually scared me a lot, knowing that this blue wolf can harm her, "Kate stay away, this wolf can harm you" I said to which she didn't react instead she kept on coming closer.
"Relax, you both" she said to me and Ethan as she moved closer to the blue one.
"And you, Little one calm down they are friends" she said to which the wolf growled again backing off.
As Ethan ran inside for his cloths and I got my time to have a talk with my friend "Kate what is all this...?" I asked her all worried, "Well Sarah, I will tell you everything, but not now, I have to do something first", she said to which I nodded.
"In the mean while I want you to arrange some things for me" she said to which again I nodded.
The blue wolf hauled as it made its may in a house as Kate followed her, "Wait, where are you going Kate?" I questioned her to which she turned around "Sarah I will be back okay and then we can talk, right" she said running to the house.
"Right" I mumbled knowing she won't be able to listen, as I saw Ethan coming in his new attire, well every time I see this guy that many times I fall in love with him.
"Sarah what was that all about" he asked all concerned, and I would have answered him if I knew what was going on, "I don't know love, Kate said she would tell me all about it but afterwards" I said to which he nodded.
"Alright then, let's get you comfortable here" he said with a smirk to which I rolled my eyes, "Really Ethan, well I was thinking of to go for a ride, I heard there are many beautiful sceneries around here" I said to which he thought for a moment.
"Okay then ride it is" he said to which I cheered up and jumped up on him as he scooped me on time.
Katherine's Pov
I followed her inside her room and saw her trying to open a cupboard, well she is new to all this and it will take time to adjust, she have unconditional powers, but the only thing is she needs to learn how to use them, but I am not sure if she is my real mate, cuz till now I haven't seen any symbol on her body.
May be she is a normal wolf, but she doesn't seems to be a normal wolf, as I heard a haul which brought me back to reality, I saw her still trying "Let me help you little one, I know it's complicated and hard, but you will get used to it" I said to which it stepped back giving me space to open the cupboard.
I opened it as I found nothing but some old and torn up dresses, I searched through them and I found nothing but the same old shorts and t-shirts and tops.
I sighed as I picked a navy blue coloured Shorts and a white loose T-shirt, "Here, you can shift now" I said keeping the pair down on a bed.
As I made my ways out of the room to give her space for the shift, I was standing out Wondering how beautiful she is, her eyes, her face.....and I was interrupted by a whining noise coming from her room, I panicked as I knocked the door as it cracked open, there I saw her on knees as she was crying, and there heart goes again.
I ran inside the room to where she was, "hey what happened little one, are you in pain or something?" I questioned her all worried.
"Ma...my...ba...bac...back is pai..ning" she said whining, as her hands were shaking terribly, "hey calm down, let me see it, we need to clean it if you are wounded" I said to which she shook her head 'NO' as she still was whining in pain.
I picked her up as I laid her down on bed carefully, "Little one you need to show me, what if you are hurt" I said to which she glanced up to me with her watery eyes, "Can I...?" I asked her for her permission to which she nodded slightly, as she turned around to give me proper access to her back.
As I saw redness all over her shoulder area, I slowly took her t-shirt off, as I saw the same mark on the back of her right shoulder blade, it was not fully visible some part was just in the form of red lines, which means she is not fully matured.
And by that I mean, we do have phases She just shifted and so she got her mark now, but until she learns about her powers and her wolf the mark would just be slightly visible, but the day she has all her powers the mark would be completely visible.
And this pain will remain for some days, and well I am glad that she is my mate and that now I am with her.
I leaned in and as I pressed my lips against the mark to which she flinched, "what..what are you doing" she asked.
"I will tell you everything little one, but first you need to rest, it was your first day, and it must be painful, and so I suggest that you should take some rest" I said to her, but she was all blank as she looked me with her so ideal eyes, I smiled as I leaned in and kissed her forehead, "rest Little one rest" I whispered softly.
As I helped her settling on her bed, after she was all good I decided to give her privacy which I think she needed, cuz that little life had seen much more which was hard to process.
And so I made my way near the door as I heard her "My name is Eva" she paused as she took all of me, eyeing me, "Eva Webster" she completed, as I nodded "it was nice meeting you Eva, and myself Katherine, well now rest Little one, we have lots of time for our both of us" I said, as I made my way out of the room closing it.
