Katherine's Pov
'Eva'... Such a beautiful name... She is gorgeous.
Her ice blue eyes, her lips, her black hair, her well toned body... Everything is so perfect. But I didn't miss the bruise which I saw on her toned skin, it broke my heart seeing that she suffered through hell being in this place. How dares anyone touched her! I'm going to find out who did that to her and I will make sure that they suffer through the worst. I can already feel my wolf trying to surface up with that anger and possession.
"Kate!! There you are! I was looking for you!" Sarah said while she was running and beside her was Ethan, he seemed confused and curious. They were now standing right in front of me, both of them were silent, waiting for me to say something, "Would you now be kind enough to explain us, what happened and who was that girl?" Sarah asked dramatically when she saw that I wasn't gonna I initiate anything which made me to roll eyes on her.
There was a minute of silence and Sarah is starting to get impatient. I finally decided to tell them. I sighed deeply before answering them, "She's my mate Sarah " Both of them looked shocked but then they started smiling like idiots and they hugged me tight enough to make me feel irritated, but somehow I managed to survive through there tight hug.
"I knew it!! Congratulations Kate, I told you we will find her, sooner or later!" Sarah said and hugged me one more time. "Well can we meet her?! I really want to meet her. Where is she anyway?" She said all excited, "Calm down Sarah. She is in her room, sleeping. You know that this was her first time to shift and so she's tired, so I let her rest for a while" I completed to which the both of them nodded in acknowledgement, "Are you sure she's the one? Not to be rude but... Does she has a mark?" Ethan asked, Sarah smacked him on his shoulder and glared at him I laughed a little and said "Yes Ethan. She's the one. Her mark has begun to form. It's hard to see, but it's there and I saw it".
"We are so happy for you!!" They both said in unison which made me chuckle on there silly child like behavior. "Your Highness" I heard someone say behind me as I turned around and saw Alpha's son Derek, " I apologise that you had to deal with that pathetic girl. I will make sure she doesn't bother you ever again. Would you let me take you out for a dinner as an apology?" I can hear Ethan growling at him. That asshole!! How dare he spoke like that about my mate!!
Just when I was about to correct him or I should say yell at him, I heard foot steps and within no second, Alpha Josh comes in the room with his wife. Wowwww look who's here, another jerkass.
"Ah I see that you all are here. I told my son to apologize for that incident, I will make sure that the girl is punished. I will personally teach her a lesson. I hope you are enjoying your day here and that you will find your mate soon enough Your highness", That's it oh how my wolf wanted to rip his head off of his body. I can't control her any longer. She will come out any time now, "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY MATE?!!!" My wolf took control over me. I could see fear in their eyes, I started walking closer to them.
If I don't get my control over my wolf soon, my wolf would kill them all for sure. They hurt our mate!! They made her life a living hell!! They deserves to die!! My wolf screamed inside my head. I tried to take control but there was no use. Suddenly I feel someone hugging me from behind. I immediately relaxed recognizing who is standing behind me. I can feel my wolf calming down so I turned around and hug her, holding her closer to me, putting my head inside her neck inhaling her smell. Apple and cinnamon, my favourite. I can feel eyes on us but I don't care. All I care about is her, my mate.
"Calm down beautiful. No one can hurt me now. I'm stronger now. All because of you. You make me stronger. No one can touch me anymore." She whispered to me and kissed my cheek sending electricity all over my body. I looked down at her and saw her blushing. She looked down embarrassed. I raised her head holding her by her chin, I looked at her lips then at her eyes seeing her doing the same. I give her a small smile and pulled her closer, finally connecting our lips.
