Screams.
So many screams.
Fire.
All around me.
I can't see.
I can't breathe.
I'm trapped. And there's no escape.
"FIND HER!" I can hear my wolf yelling at me.
Find her...
Find who?
"WE HAVE TO FIND HER! WE HAVE TO FIND OUR MATE!"
Mate... Our mate...
What is he talking...
Then I remembered.
Katherine.
The screams became quite. All except one. The only thing I can hear now is just one scream.
Her scream.
Crying.
Shouting.
Cursing.
Begging...
I can feel it. Everything she's going through... Everything they're doing to her... All her pain. Consuming me.
I have to find her. I have to save her. I can't lose her. Not now. Not ever.
I can feel myself moving. My wolf taking over my body. Running towards her. Following the sound of her screams. Not caring about fire. Not caring about burns. Just one thing on our mind...
Find her.
Running and running and running...
Then we stopped.
Echo.
The only thing we hear is echo.
And then...
Silence.
No more screaming. No more begging. No more pain.
I can't hear anything... I can't feel anything...
Numb.
Lost.
Empty.
She's gone.
"NOOOOOOO!!!!"
I jumped and looked around me. I was in my bed. In my room. There is no fire and I can hear everyone in the house is sleeping.
It was a dream.
Everything is okay. It was only a dream.
But I can't calm down. It's hard to breathe. I can't feel my body but I know I'm shaking.
The room starts spinning.
Then I heard door open and close.
Someone is here, but I can't tell who it is. They came closer to me. I try to move away from them but it's no use.
I can't move...
"Shh... It's okay. You're okay." I know that voice. "Breathe Eva... It's me. Everything is fine... It was just a dream."

It's her.
She's here.
She's alright.
My body moved and I found myself holding her like my life is depending on it. She keeps talking and her voce managed to calm me down. I started breathing normally and her scent is consuming me.
My wolf and I relaxed but both of us know that this is not the end.
It's only the beginning...
