Ayeon's POV

Walking back to the one and only place I avoided from going, it didn't feel good. At this rate, I would prefer to find Chan and begin our Math project.

I stopped walking, looking at the sky while breathing in and out. Who knew what would happen, right? 

"You're here."

It was one of the familiar voices I used to hear, three years ago. I looked at him, smiled and walked off to the entrance. I tried to push the big steel door, damn it was still hard. Till then he came and help.

"You know Ayeon, this warehouse is still the same," he chuckled a bit.

I was nervous as hell, yet he can still smile. He knew I hated this whole thing, he knew why did I stop. He was the one who encouraged me to stop. Now why did he act like nothing happened? Bullshit.

He walked away towards the boss's room. I had to admit, it was still the same like the day I left. I gritted my teeth before stepping in.

"Hello there miss."

Now, seven pairs of eyes were fixed on me. I bowed politely, acting as if I was meeting them the first time.

"Ayeon!" Jimin literally shouted next to my ear and hugged me tightly. I swore I would hit him if we were like us, back then.

"Oh hey Jimin," I chirped, trying to sound as cheerful as possible like hello I was about to get assigned to something bad. The truth was, I wanted to say 'Jimin-ssi' but that would make us even more awkward. I didn't want that to happen, not to these guys well of course except for the boss.

"Settle in. Kim Ayeon, I know you quit, but we do have one last deal. You need to bear that in mind. I got a phone call yesterday, a new customer of course. Here's the picture."

He pushed a picture, making me took a step forward as I needed to take a look. My jaw dropped as soon as I saw the person in that picture.

He had a sharp features, a noticeably chiseled jawline, pale skin and that sharp eye that looked so lonely. Yeah, I knew who it was.

"Jeon Wonwoo."

"You know him?"

"Yeah, sort of."

"This is getting more difficult if you know him!" Taehyung, the one who helped me out earlier butted in.

"I don't care what it's gonna take. It's either him or you."
