Being around Luke wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. He is actually really talented with the piano. I thought it would be worse with the whole thing with Ryan, but that never came up once. I don't know why I was so scared.
Leaving the school I realized how nervous I actually was for tonight. It's been the same girl for seven years but everything feels so different. I take a deep breath as I walk in my front door heading straight to my room. It's 5:30 and I need to get dressed because I have to go get Liz soon.
I sit my backpack down and pull out the small box that she had given me at lunch. I open it slowly to find a silver chain with my name on it. I gasp at the sight of the precious necklace and smile. She really out did herself this time. I walk to the mirror and put it on.
On my bed I already have my blue dress it that I had bought the weekend before. It was a sleeve detail dress that I got at the mall. It was the perfect dark blue that I loved. I never wear much make up except foundation and eye shadow with mascara, but my lashes were already really long you just can't see as much because they are blonde as well. I slide on my white heels and grab my keys before looking down at my phone.
5:50, crap I have to go now. I take one quick glance in the mirror before I walk out of my room heading for the door. I hope it all goes well..
