A Reverse World

Broken Heart

"Hello?" Ryan's voice comes through the phone. I start tearing up, my entire body shaking as I try to to speak without my voice cracking.
"R-ryan I.. Liz she.." I break down crying my eyes blurrying.
"Oh gods, Violet. Are you okay? Where are you? I thought you were on your date with Liz."
"C-can I go to your place? P-please. Just for a bit. I-"
"Of course, I'm already unlocking thr door. Its going to be okay Vi." I nod my head answering him quietly before ending the call. I give the driver Ryan's adress and sit back trying to get myself together.
How long has it been this way? How could she lie? Who even was that girl? I didn't recognize her at all. My head clouds with all these thoughts as my phone starts going off. Its Liz.
I press the ignore button, breathing deeply. I have to stop crying. I don't want Ryan seeing me this way. As I mange to stop, my door is suddenly opened and Ryan is outside. I hadn't notice we arrived. 
I get out of the car and Ryan immediately pulls me against his chest, holding me close.
"It's alright, I've got you. Lets go inside" Ryan talks to the driver for a minute before turning to me and leading me in his house.
Ryan's home has always been my favorite. As soon as you walk in you see pictures and quotes that his family has hung up. The living room id a creamy sky blue color with a black couch in the middle of the room.
Ryan pulls me down to the couch, his carmel brown eyes full of concern. I look down at the ground trying not to make eye contact. 
"Violet, what happened? Did Liz say something?" I take a deep breath wiping my eyes trying npt to cry as I speak.
"This girl.. She came up to our table at diner. A-and she called her baby girl and started talking about prom and a date-" I begin to sob and Ryan pulls me against him again, rubbing my back.
"Oh dear. I am so sorry Vi. You don't deserve this. I think it's time we talk though.  Did the girl happen to have long black hair with crystal blue eyes?"
