Niall: You look down at the text message to confirm that he did tell you to meet him at eight p.m. on the dock and he did, in fact, and along with the message are your questions of why and his lack of response. He told you to just be there--so here you are. "Niall?" you call out, walking towards a flickering flame near the bay. "Over here," he calls out with a wave, you can see him perched on the edge of the dock with his legs hanging over and his guitar perched in his lap. "What's this for?" you ask, noticing the flickering light was a candle and damn was this romantic and wow wouldn't it be nice if he was your boyfriend and not just a friend. "This is for you," he says simply, starting to strum. "I remember that time you told me you always wanted a boyfriend to serenade you and I'm not your boyfriend, not yet anyway, so maybe this will change that," he says as he begins to sing and play the guitar. Damn it. "I just got serenaded by my boyfriend," you say when he's finished. A bright smile falls over his face and he sets his guitar aside. "And it was fantastic," you add, leaning in for the long awaited kiss.

Liam: "This movie had really good reviews, I hope it doesn't suck," you whisper, passing him the bucket of popcorn. "Harry went to see it with Niall the other day, they said it was scary as hell," he replies, leaning close so you can hear him over the din of the theater and the beginning music. As the movie starts and the ghosts start jumping out, you instinctively lean closer to him and grab his sleeve when you're afraid. You almost don't notice him pull the classic fake yawn and wrap his arm around your shoulder. It's definitely past the friend mark, but it's not like you really mind...

Harry: "Thanks for bringing me as your plus one," you tell him, touching up your make-up as he waits cross-legged on your bed in his thousand dollar tux. It's kind of funny how he's so casually and childishly sitting as he waits despite his expensive suit and polished, styled appearance. "Who better to take than my best friend?" he smiles, although there's a hidden emotion behind it. You smile and adjust your dress, turning to face him with your finished appearance. "How do I look?" you ask, doing a little twirl. His eyes widen and he walks over, his gaze looking you up and down with delight. "You look stunning and perfect and," he pauses and brushes a single curl away from your face, tucking it behind your ear. "Kissable." He slowly leans forward to kiss you, but you take him by surprise and pull him closer by his tie, beating him to the punch with a long-awaited kiss.

Louis: "I keep seeing this interview of you all over twitter where you mentioned me," you say casually, turning to face him on the couch. His cheeks flush slightly and a slight smiles falls over his face because he just knows which one it was. "Which one?" he asks anyway, brushing his fringe from his eyes. "One where you said you...had a crush on me," you say softly, a blush falling over your cheeks. "But I'm sure it's a fake quote or photoshopped or something, right?" His smile falters and he takes your hand in his. "If you want it to be, we can pretend it was," he sighs, his eyes meeting yours. "But it wasn't...I've kind of been falling in love with you since the first 'hello' and I haven't quite had the guts to tell you myself so I thought maybe seeing the words on paper...but it was probably a really bad Idea, I was just trying to make a move that I wasn't ballsy enough to make in person, I just re..." he rambles, casting his gaze to the floor. "I have a crush on you, too," you admit, placing your hand on his cheek. "And feel free to quote and publish it," you add, leaning in for a kiss.

Zayn: "I got a new tattoo yesterday," Zayn says casually, joining you on the sofa for pizza and some FRIENDS reruns. "Did you?" you ask, looking at his arms to see. "It's not on my arms, it's on my chest," he continues, watching the slight concern in your face. Honestly, you had no problem with his tattoos--it was his body and he worked them--but you hope it wasn't too huge or ridiculous. "Can I see this tattoo?" you ask curiously, setting down your pizza and watching as he tugs his shirt over his head. You gasp when you see "Will you go out with me?" across his chest in dark black ink. "Will you?" he asks, his eyes hopeful. "Yeah, I will," you smile, reaching out to touch the black lines, a slight horrified expression on your face. "It's not really a tattoo, don't worry," he laughs, tugging his shirt back on. "Oh thank God," you let out a sigh of relief, then lean in close. "Well it's lovely," you admit, giving him a kiss. "Glad you like it because it's going to be a real pain to wash off," he jokes with a laugh.
