***Keshini***
They ran out the door and hurried to shut it. The smell of the bleach and chlorine no longer reached their noses letting them take in a deep breath.
"Did you bring the duct tape?" Alexis asked in a hurry
"No, I didn't," Garrett replied checking for the phone in his pocket, " but I think Felix has it." Alexis hurried to Felix.
"Felix! I think we should tape down the tiny crack at the bottom of the door."
"Ayt here hold the tape." Felix pulled the end of the tape and covered all four sides of the door in a hurry.
"You know, this probably isn't the only classroom that has cracks in it's door." Aliya said.
"Yes but we have to do something..." Felix replied annoyed at her. Felix had always been annoyed at Aliya, for seemingly no apparent reason. Keshini watched as they patched up the last bit of the door. Suddenly, noises of footsteps pelting the ground reached them as the turned their heads toward the right side of the middle school hallway. The lights at the end of the hall way blinked similar to that in a horror movie. Her heart slightly hammered, as Keshini took a step back. It was different when she was watching a movie, it wasn't so realistic. She watched as two people sprinted across the hallway, nervously glancing behind them. She scanned for the resemblance. They looked, familiar.
"Is that Mounika and Shivika?" Zack asked. The figures became clearer and the smell of iron reacher her nose. Reality hit her: They were covered in blood.
***Mounika***
"Mounika you-y-you-r soaked in b-b-blood?!" Hudaifa stuttered over her works terrified of the possibilities of what had happened.
"Y-you ha-have no idea what happened back there!" Shivika began with a sick look on her face. Her breathing sputtered outward.
"Are you hurt?!" Grace asked touching her soaked clothes.
"N-no! No! Thank god!" Mounika began still shivering from the terror.
"What's going on man! I'm so scared!" Hudaifa cowered to the back wall feeling vulnerable.
Keshini took a stance into the conversation noticing the fear and disgust on everyone's faces,"guys! Guys calm down. We aren't going to get anywhere if we panic!"
"What do you mean calm down! She's covered in blood!" Aliya broke in trying to understand how Keshini was managing to maintain her calm throughout this.
"Oh! Oh! There's a teacher!" Harper began, running up to the slowly approaching figure of their towering teacher.
"Oh... he doesn't look well, to be honest..." Mike muttered. For a second there, Mounika's attention was changed from Harper to Mike, who had spoken the loudest in his years.
***Harper***
She never really liked their history. His class had always been slightly annoying making her dread her day at her school. Of course, she couldn't blame him. How were you supposed to turn some boring history lecture into a lively game?
But now, Harper was glad to see him. More than anything. Maybe he could help them out from the panic that had suddenly sprouted in this world. Maybe he knew what was going on? Harper smiled at the thought of someone else taking care of her responsibilities while she could just play along with their decisions. After all, that would be easier right?
She looked up to his towering face and suddenly slowed down, hesitant because of what she saw. "Are you okay?" She began. He looked at her and slightly swayed trying to gain balance. Hmm... that does seem like him. She thought Something was off about him: his face was paler than usual and his lips were... chapped.
