Undertaker's POV

When he left the room, Undertaker sighed and leaned against the door. The things you said warmed him up inside but he was still feeling insecure. You obviously liked going out, sunbathing or walking around but he couldn't do that with you – people would gossip. They wouldn't only call him a monster, but even you. And that he just couldn't stand. On the other hand, he couldn't let you do this only with Sebastian. And Ciel, of course, but let's be honest, girls were the last thing on the young master's mind. What should I do? He thought and sighed again. He would like to spend some time with you – alone, like, not working together but hanging out – as soon as possible to make up to. Or maybe to make him feel better he must say. He scratched the back of his head. He should have fought harder, develop a crush on you later. But well, you were irresistible. He chuckled and decided he'd wake up earlier, do the job you should be doing during the day and take you out. Where? He didn't know but he really wanted to do that.

Your POV

You stretched and yawned widely. Sun was already shining and the city was alive with sounds. You smiled and walked directly to the bathroom to take a shower. Then you dressed – your today's choice was a dress in dark red and white colour combination. When you saw yourself at the mirror, smile spread on your face. There still was the little braid Undertaker did you yesterday. You blushed a bit at the memory and combed your hair, leaving the braid though. You walked downstairs and took a plate in the kitchen with breakfast made for you – a slice of bread with jam and butter. You walked to the mainroom and smiled at Undertaker at the counter. You sat on one of the coffins and thanked him before starting eating. "What're we going to do tomorrow? I believe we have another poisoned one?" You asked and took another bite. "Naah, I already examined it and still didn't find anything to tell me more about the poison." He shrugged and you looked at him hurt. "Wake me up next time, please." You pouted, the case was a mystery and you didn't want to miss the moment it was solved. And you also wanted to work with your amazing co-worker. "Fine fine~," he chuckled, "How about we do something fun in the afternoon?" You raised an eyebrow. "Like what?" You asked and felt your heartbeat get faster. "A picnic maybe? If you want?" He suggested with a smile. When did he start to smile? Definitely not the first weeks – he grinned, sure, laughed? Yes. But smiled? Not once. Not until recently. You felt happy after realizing that. "Sounds nice." You smiled shyly. "But before that we still have to meet some alive ones." He sighed and laid his head down on the counter. You took the plate to kitchen and put it in sink. Then you came back and patted his head. "Should I do the talking while you creep them out?" You grinned mischievously and watched him laugh. "My my, you're really the best, [y/n]." Now you remembered that he also knows your name now and blushed. He chuckled seeing you like this and got up to walk to you. "I swear I'll tell you my name if you solve the case~." He grinned in the cheshire way. You sighed but were truly motivated to be the one to find the poison.

Soon enough it was 3 p.m. and you laid down on your coffin. Well, not yours, but you mostly sat or laid on this one. Your last living one just left so you were finally free and waited for Undertaker to pack all the things. You wanted to help but he said he wanted to surprise you. You smiled happily and rolled over to lay on your stomach. You played with your [h/c] hair while thinking. He was acting weirdly – weirdly for him – and you wondered why. You thought about his protectiveness over you when other men was in the same room as you two, about how tense he was when you walked away yesterday and after you returned and he saw... well... that. And there was also Sebastian. The oh-so-handsome butler. Not as handsome as your silver-haired friend but still attractive as hell. He also wasn't as funny or charming but if it came to that, he'd be a better fit for you – he's butler after all. A servant. You don't deserve someone like the man you shared the house at the moment. Someone so amazing. You didn't know why but felt as if Sebastian had some business with Undertaker, maybe they had a fight in the past? Well, you probably shouldn't ask about that.

Undertaker came back and grinned at you. "Are you ready?" He was wearing his usual black clothes but now he held a small picnic basket in his hand. "Sure." You smiled and walked to the door, holding them open for him. "You're such a gentleman, darling." He chuckled and offer you his arm once you were out. You happily took him, blushing slightly. "Where are we going?" You laughed as he stopped at the first crossroad and couldn't decide on the right direction. "It's surprise!" He grinned as he started walking straight. You only laughed at his behaviour and followed. Soon you two stood in front of a gate that led to a church. "What are we doing here?" You asked, feeling unsure of what to think. Weren't you going to have a picnic? "This is the perfect spot!" He exclaimed and took your hand. You blushed but didn't pull away. He led you to the back, to the cemetery behind the church but didn't stop until a while later where there were no graves around. "Let's stay here!" He grinned and laid the blanket down so you could sit on it.
