Avi POV

Today were the tests to see if you were getting better with your phobia.

Once a week we would do practices and at the end of the month we did a test to see who got to go home and who had to stay.

This was our first month so we probably weren't getting out yet.

I watched as they called out names in alphabet order.

And soon enough they called Mitch's name.

"Mitchell Grassi, please come up. Mitchell Grassi."

I watched through the thin glass window as Mitch walked into the small room waiting for the test to begin.

A door opened on one of the walls and about 9 people walked in.

They all started talking to Mitch, asking him personal questions.

He looked like he was about to snap.

And he did.

Someone said, "I want to take you to New York City!"

It must have been some kind of trigger because Mitch put his hands over his ears and fell to the floor.

He had tears running down his face as he curled up in a ball.

I watched as all the people in the room walked out except for one, who was helping Mitch stand back up.

Mitch walked out and Scott immediately gave him a hug.

He wiped away his tears and I stood thinking about how I wanted a relationship like that.

I mean, yea, I knew I liked Kirstie. And I knew she liked me. But she said she wasn't ready for that type of relationship.

Next was Scott.

He walked into the room and I saw people exchange glances when nothing happened in the room.

And thats the thing.

Scott was all alone in the room.

He looked a little scared, but he braved it through until about the end.

He started shaking really bad and he started looking all around the room, putting his hands on the wall and yelling at it, or kicking it.

Someone came in to calm him down and they had to bring him out.

He let out a sigh of relief when he saw all the people.

But he was focused on Mitch.

How cute.

A few names later it was my turn.

I walked into the room and waited for the torture.

A video popped up on a tv that was in the room and it played a video of rain.

But, you see, I only had to physically be in the rain for it to bother me.

That's what people didn't understand.

After 5 minutes of me not reacting to it, they finally let me out.

Kirstie soon walked in and someone walked in and set a mirror in front of her.

She kicked the mirror and it shattered. Guess she was done.

And last but not least was Kevin.

They gave him a pill and water to put him to sleep.

He hesitantly took the pill and soon he sat down on the ground, then lay on the floor, fast asleep.

He started moving in his sleep and he woke with a sudden start while yelling with tears on his cheeks.

They helped him up and out of the room, starting to finish up with the last few people.

When they were done, they sent out one person to tell us that they would have results up tomorrow and to check back in.

And boy was I nervous.
