Avi POV
"Hey Avi" my sister Esther said while smiling.
"Hey Esther" I said while pulling the car door open.
She got in and I walked over to the other side to get in.
Once we started driving Esther asked, "How are mom and dad?"
"Esther, we are literally driving over to their house right now."
She glared at me and I smirked at her and said, "Idiot."
She ignored me and just went on her phone.

About an hour into the drive it started raining.
It made it harder to see while driving, which meant that my driving was bad.
And by bad, I mean horrible.
It was so hard to see through the pouring rain.
I grabbed Esthers hand and squeezed it.
It comforted me to know that she was still there with me.
And that's when we crashed.

When the ambulance came to take us to the hospital, it was all a blur.
But I remembered her heart stopping.
And me sobbing.
My sister was dead because of me.
*****
The doctors didn't know why I was scared of rain instead of cars or something.
But whenever it rained, I would see my sister, and it would make me start to sob.
It was all my fault.
The doctors sent my to a phobia place to help me get over my sister.
My name is Avi Kaplan, I'm 19, and I'm diagnosed with Ombrophobia, fear of rain.

This is what Avi looks like :)
