-thanksgiving week-

"Hm. Sales are good," I mumbled to myself.

I was currently checking the online sales for the clothing boutique that Drelin owned. I talked to Uncle Myles and daddy and decided that we were going to close the store down in Brooklyn.

The online store was already going great and with so much going on it was best to close it down. I planned on opening it back up in a few years. I had many ideas with the online store and I was excited. As far as the workers go in the shop I didn't leave them hanging. The ones that had been there since it opened would have job titles as: social media marketer, inventory checker, website designer, and customer service person.

I checked the sales every Monday and Manny was our promoter for the store so he got paid for that.

After finishing all of that I got up and started folding more clothes and putting them in boxes.

A lot had happened since Maxlin's accident. I would be graduating next month and heading to Connecticut to stay with my cousin; Janeli. She had a roommate but the girl moved out and now with me moving in I could help her out on the rent.

Janeli is a cousin from my mom's side and she's Asian and Black. Her mom is my mom's half-sister who I never seem to talk about. She's cool but we don't have a tight "Aunt and Neice" relationship. Janeli and I were close though when I was younger but I would always hang with my dad's side more.

I was taking Maxlin with me to CT and bringing him to Jersey back in August to live with Uncle Myles when I start college. I was thinking about going to Clark Atlanta since I got accepted there but DC is something I would like to experience more.

Colieyon no longer lived with us after I kicked him out. I haven't seen Nyleigh since August because he felt like we were attacking his child. Personally, I think my niece did have something wrong with her cause she would switch up like a switch.

She would be crying for food and if you didn't give it to her she would do something to piss you off like cutting up people's clothes– which she did to Manny. After she would ruin things she would cry and say she didn't do it and accuse someone. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt at first but she knew what she was doing.

Manny and Colieyon fought each other and surprisingly Manny won even though Colie had him up on size.

Colieyon had a serious drinking problem so I kicked him out. I rolled my eyes thinking about the last straw that got him kicked out.

"Yo shut up! Always crying over something!" Colieyon yelled at Maxlin.

"You aren't going to yell at my son like you're crazy, Colieyon. You don't expect him to cry after he hears all this noise you're making out here!?" I yelled highly upset he had his friends over and they all were high and drunk and so was he.

"Girl you betta sit down somewhere acting like you run something in this piece," he slurred. "I'm the oldest."

"Last time I checked, my money is the one paying the bills Colieyon. Do you really wanna go there with me while your friends are here?"
