Vivian tried to pass the time reading more spells from her magic spell book and even attempted a few trickier ones but, she wasn't too successful though. She had dinner brought into her office to eat alone as to again not risk being seen in the hideous form, she took upon herself. Vivian decided to go to the Mirror one again and ask a question. See first checked her reflection with the mirror to see that it was still working. Then decided to check to see it the little aliens have left so that she could visit Soren alone.
"Mirror, mirror, on the wall are the seven men gone at all?" she said. Then the face appeared
"Glad tidings they see for the seven of them left three hours' time ago to see their queen." he replied.
"Splendid then I will be off." she said. Then she spun around using her magic she vanished in a cloud of purple smoke.
Vivian appeared in the forest in the same cloud of purple smoke but, it then quickly dissipated afterwards. She found herself hidden amongst the trees. All she could see were trees in her way. Then she turned around and found a little cottage up ahead. Vivian then walked through the trees and up towards the cottage to find Soren. When she arrived, she gave a quiet but firm knock on the wooden door. Then Soren open and answered the door shortly afterwards without much thought.
"Hello? May I help you?" she asked confused but, sweetly. 'May you help me indeed; your death would be plenty for Me.' he thought bitterly.
"Oh, my dear, I'm an old woman may I sit a moment?" she asked in a voice that fit how she looked.
"Why of course." she said and stepped to the side to let her in. She stepped in and took a seat at the nearby table.
"Why thank you my dear. You don't know how long I have been walking. Hear take an apple as a token of my gratitude." she said in the same elderly voice. Soren began to sweep
"I shouldn't but thank you. I'm much too busy. Plenty to clean before the little men arrive." she then replied.
"Oh, but please. It would gladden my heart and besides there very juicy just one bite is all it takes to make you crave my apples." She said. Soren stopped wiped her hands on her apron
"Oh, I really shouldn't. But if you insist and they really are as good as you say..." she said trailing off.
"That's a good girl" Vivian said standing up hobbling over to her handed her the apple patting it when in her hand then hobbled back to her seat. Soren looked at the apple then said
"Well I'll just save it for later." Soren said.
"Oh no my dear have it now." Vivian replied.
"Oh, fine but then you must have a piece of my pie then." Soren replied.
"Fine, fine just take a bite." Vivian said chuckling. It's funny in her own way Soren was putting up a fight for her own life without even realizing it. Vivian however, knew how to convince her.
"Well here it goes." Soren said and she took a huge but, neat bite out of the apple. For a few seconds nothing happened at all. They just stared at each other for a little while. Then suddenly, Soren put her hand to her forehead.
"Oh my!" she exclaimed. Vivian inched towards her
"What's the matter my dear?" Vivian asked slyly taking a step forward. Soren took a step back
"I... I don't feel so good." she said. Then she fainted and fell gracefully hitting ground with a light thud.
After she had hit the ground and her hand fell limp and the apple rolled from the palm of her hand to her fingertips until it hit the ground with a soft thud and kept on going until it hit Vivian's foot. Vivian picked up the apple looked at the bite and admired it for a second. Then she took a few steps to slowly inch towards Soren's fallen body and gave it a little nudge with her foot to check for a response. After a few seconds she finally spoke to check that she was truly asleep.
