ZAYNS POV

With my eyes still closed, I stretch my arms in hopes to touch Dakota expect I feel nothing under my fingertips but my bed sheets.

She left.

I open my eyes and stare at the ceiling. "Fuck!" I scream to myself.

I don't know if there is anything else I could do, any other way to prove to her that I care. Am I trying too hard? Too little? Maybe it's not worth it....maybe-

My thoughts are interrupted by a smiley Dakota struggling to open the door with a breakfast tray in her hand.

I stand to my feet and rush to help her. "Goodmorning." She says. I don't know if it's just the sun rising behind her or if it's just her but she's glowing. She didn't leave, she didn't leave.

Relieve rushes over me, and I breathe.

"I thought you left..." I start to say putting the tray down on the floor.

"Nope. I made you breakfast, I'm still a bit high." She admits sitting down next to me.

I looked down at the tray. Eggs, turkey-bacon, cookies and apple juice. "Woah. Best breakfast, actually." I smile at her. "Baked cookies too?" I ask.

She smiles, "I wish. There's a whole lot in the kitchen, I guess your dad made it before he left? But everything else was me! Promise!" She says, proud evident in her voice.

"Before he left?" I question, bringing a forkful of eggs to my mouth.

Dakota watches my lips for a minute then looks up to my eyes, I try my best not to laugh. "Yeah, he was banging on the door....that's the only reason why I woke up. When I answered it, he was really surprised I was here but didn't seem to care. He was in a rush. Anyways he's going to America for a few weeks and told me, to tell you to call him when you woke up." She puts her hair up in a ponytail, while I sink in the information.

Few weeks? Alone with Dakota in for a few weeks doesn't sound to bad, I plan in my head.

I look at Dakota and she's wearing only the shirt I put her in over her dress last night expect for now, she isn't wearing a dress underneath. She doesn't look like the same as she did last night. She looks more healthier expect for the read rims that dance around her brown eyes. She's wearing a lot less makeup than last night, maybe none at all? I can see her slight freckles along her cheek and bridge of her nose, that I never knew existed before.

"What." She asks, pulling me out of my trance. She picks up a cookie not leaving my eyes as I say nothing. She breaks into a smile after a minute of silence and puts the cookie back onto a small plate on the tray, after a couple bites.

She pushes me back gently, and pulls herself on top of me. "Talk to me." She demands quietly giggling. "I rather..." I trail off, I cup my hands in her face and gently rolling her over so Im ontop of her. I press my lips against hers, her laughing still visible.

Kissing her is so calming. She grabs my waist pulling me closer to her. And the pits of my stomach start to heat. She pushes me away and I get off her. Did she notice?

"Sorry. I really need to pee." She reassures me, her cheeks turning pink. As she goes to the bathroom, I go into the house holding the plate of eggs and bacon; eating while doing so.

When I reach the kitchen the doorbell rings. Who the hell would come here if my dad isn't home?

I reach the door and Brianna Lance stands infront of me.

"What the fuck?" Is the only thing that slowly slips out of my lips.
