Meeting the Diaz'

When we entered the portal all I saw was darkness and the sound of the horses' hooves clopping on the ground as I pondered about my new life on Earth, I sigh and scoot my butt backwards making it hit someone but did I care? I'm blind. I felt someone tap my hip as I looked at the direction where it came from "Hm?" I hummed in reply "Star sweetheart your butt is in my arm" Mother said as I sat up straight embarrassed "S-sorry" and continued to ponder. After a couple of minutes I saw us getting near a tunnel of light making butterflies form in my stomach, I didn't think much of it at first cause I thought we were still far away but no, light blasted in my eyes making me shut it and cringe "Ow, Earth is too bright" I whined rubbing my eyes "You'll get used to it" Father chuckled and gently grabbed my hand leading me out of the carriage.

As I stepped out I sighed in relief when I felt my feet touch the ground "Is this the house?" Mother asked and I felt father nod his head "I believe it is my dear" I heard Julie and Aurora barking behind me but I didn't mind because I was too focused on the path that my father was walking me to, I saw all the different colors Earth has and the atmosphere is just like Mewni's which made me feel better and the only thing I have to deal with now is getting used to my new home and the people I'm gonna be living with there "Stand still while we introduce ourselves okay dear?" Mother instructed as I gave her a nod in response. I heard a knock and a door opening and that's where the conversation started but I didn't listen, what else could a blind person do? I don't know.

I was standing there staring into blank space with my hands crossed infront of my lap "This is our daughter Star" I shook my head and looked at where the sound came from and gave them a sweet smile "Hello" "She's precious, how old is she?" I felt a light nudge on my arm from who I suppose is my mom wanting me to answer the question "Oh, I-i'm 19" I blushed "What a coincidence! Our son Marco is the same age as you," Son? Marco? I bet he's nice. "Come in! Do you need help with your luggage?" A male voice spoke and I suppose that would be the dad of this Marco boy. My father laughed "No need young man, we have our royal staff to do that" He whistled and motioned them over to bring my stuff inside.

I was ushered in and being sat down on a soft couch and for some reason my heart was pounding against my chest as everything was being placed in my new room. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and I assumed it was either my parents or one of the parents from this house "Mom what's all the noise?" I heard a high pitched and somewhat still in the puberty stage voice that cracked every once in a while coming towards me "Who's this?" He asked nicely "She's our new foreign exchange student that's gonna be living with us so please for the sake of our lord Marco be nice" His mom said and I felt the couch dip down beside me "Hi?" I said, my greeting coming out as a question "Hi nice to meet you, my name's Marco what about you?" "I'm Star Butterfly, I'm from Mewni" I chuckled "Mewni? Where's that?" I gave him a look and smiled "Oh it's another dimension and I know that it sounds wierd" I looked down not wanting to be embarrased anymore.

"R-right and I suppose you're 19 too?" I nodded my head with my gaze still on the ground "Wokay then. Do you want me to take you to your room?" I looked up at him "Y-yeah sure" I felt him grab my hand and held it firmly but gently which made me blush that I managed to hide as he led me to my room. We went up a couple steps of stairs and finally we arrived, I reached out for the door knob and twisting it making the door open "This is it" He said in a quiet tone "Thank-" Before I were to complete my sentence we were both pushed down by four paws making me hit my head on the wooden floor and I immediately knew it was Aurora and Julie. Those little fibbers...

I know, this chapter is ugly AF so please bare with meeeh😃😃 next chapter would be better I promise!
