Marco's POV

I sighed and jogged over to where the phone was and picked it up "Hello?" "Hey babe! It's Jackie" I smiled "Hey Jackie, how are you? How's Paris?" I hear her giggle at the other end "I'm fine babe and Paris is going great! It's been awhile since we've talked you know but anyways how are you?" "I'm fine too, but kinda have a full house at the moment" I chuckled "Oh, why's that?" She said curiously "It's just that this girl just came in today from this wierd place called Mewni and things got quite troubled with her dogs" It stayed silent and I couldn't hear her from the other line "Jackie?" Silent again, "Hello? Jackie you there?" My eyebrows scrunched together in worry. "Oh, sorry I dozed off a bit" She chuckled "Okay then.. Are you okay?" She scoffed "Psh of course I am! Why wouldn't I be?" Her accent sounded wierd, like as if she's jealous. But I knew she wouldn't feel like that because I know that she trusts me and I trust her, "Nothing. Just asking that's all" She sighed on the other end "Well anyways I gotta go babe, I have things to do. I'll call you when I can. Bye, love you" She said her voice out of power "Love you too, bye" And that's when she hung up.

I sighed and placed my phone back on the counter and went up the stairs to my room.

Star's POV

I layed down in my bed while playing with my hair and humming out a tune I loved listening to in my music box back in Mewni. I felt a stinging sensation which hurt and somehow a little bit relaxed, I kind of enjoyed the pain, it relaxes me. I know it sounds wierd but I've been through a lot of heartache through the past that nobody barely knows about, and one of those heartaches was me being born blind. But as years passed and I grew up I learned to accept my disability and myself in general.

My mother and father never told me any wrong about my disability and if I feel down about myself they would always tell me the perks of being blind and those are some reasons as to why I accepted myself. I wanted to know what time it is but then again I'm blind, I sighed and thought wonderlessly about all the things I could see in this dimension until I remembered that my father gave me this necklace that I can ask questions to and it'll answer me. I felt around my neck, looking for the necklace and once I found it I asked "What time is it?" "You left Mewni at approximately 10:44 am and you arrived in Earth at 10:57 am and the current time is 5:59 pm" The female robotic voice rang through the speakers "A couple hours until sunset" I whispered and let it go making it fall back into it's natural place.

I layed back down into the bed and relaxed until I was disturbed by woods breaking and Marco screaming, I grabbed my nearby walking stick and directed myself towards the sound which I suppose is in his room. I knocked a couple of timed and I felt the door swing open "Star? Sorry did I disturb you?" I shook my head "No. I just came here to check what you were doing" I chuckled softly "Oh- well- uh I was doing some karate" "Oh you do karate? At 5 o'clock pm?" I smirked "Oh yeah, since I was in the 1st grade. But I don't usually do this at this time. I'm really sorry! Did I disturb you?" I nodded "So I heard you talking downstairs to someone on the phone, who was that?" I hear him put back the broken pieces of wood "I was talking to my girlfriend" I placed my walking stick to the side and crossed my arms "Wait, I didn't know you had a girlfriend. Where is she?" "She's in Paris at the moment bacause of her college" I frowned "How long has she been there?" "About five years now..." He said with a sad tone "Do you miss her?" I hear him scoff "Of course." I felt bad for him and I really wanted to give him a hug "Marco?" "Hm-?" He replied "C-can I give you a hug?" I blushed, although I wish I could see what he looked like.

"U-uhh sure." I felt his presence get closer and I felt that he was close enough I wrapped my arms around him tightly in a tight embrace. My face was on his shoulder while his was buried in my neck "Star?" He said his words muffled "Yeah?" "Why'd you want to give me a hug?" I giggled "It's cause I felt bad for you" he chuckled "Thanks." I smiled and we let go and I yawned "Sleepy?" He asked as I nodded "Well I think you should get some z's" I laughed "Mkay. Night Marco" I grabbed my walking stick and headed back to my room where I did my daily nightime routine with the help of my assistant necklace and fell asleep directly after that.
