Jane and Ariel walked (actually it was more like Ariel pulled Jane after her), across the area. The two girls came to a stop in front of a ring of cabins shaped like an upside down 'u.' The cabins varied dramatically, one of them gleaming gold, another like an old weird building.

"These are the first twelve Olympian cabins," Ariel explained, indicating to the large twelve. "The big gods and goddesses, like Apollo and Zeus."

"Gods?" Jane scrunched up her nose, confused. "You mean, like church God?"

Ariel laughed, shaking her head. "No, like the Greek gods." She waited for to Jane to suddenly remember, but it didn't come. Her expression became dead serious. "You mean you don't know about Hera and Ares and-," She covered her mouth. "Oh gods... You don't know who your dad!" She took Jane's hand, jerking her along a path. They didn't travel very long before they sopped in front of a scary looking cabin.

It was made of dark stone, with green fire torches burning beside the door. Jane shuddered, staring up at the mini-house. Skulls hung above the doorway, and they smiled ominously down on the pair. Ariel seemed to flinch back at the sight, but stood straight back up. "Look... It's your dad's cabin. Um..." She looked around the area. "Hey! Tidbit!" She pounded on the door so hard Jane was afraid the skulls would fall on her.

The cabin door swung open, and a boy about 16 came out, his eyes flickering from Ariel to Jane. "Who's this? Showing her were not to go?"

Ariel rolled her eyes. "No, bone head. This is your sister. She doesn't know the gods."

Tidbit perked when Ariel said 'sister.' He dismissed the thought, his cold brown eyes returning. "Hmm. Don't blame her. She's like, what, eight?"

"I'm nine!" Jane snapped, taking a step closer to the stranger. She let her tone get softer. "You're my... brother?"

The boy glanced uneasily at Ariel. She smirked and pushed her hands to him, as if saying, all yours. "Well, half-brother. You see, we have the same dad... I guess... but not the same mother."

Jane smiled. She had always wanted a brother. Suddenly, she wrapped her arms around his waist. Taken aback, Tidbit held his hands up. "Ariel! Help me. Do something!"

Laughing, Ariel bent over, gasping for breath. "I so wish I had a camera."

Glaring down at Jane, Tidbit pried her off of him. "I don't do hugs. Actually, I don't do affection at all. Let's say that's just us. We don't hug or have feelings."

Ariel scoffed, her eyes sharper than daggers. "Don't listen to Tidbit, Jane. He thinks that children of Hades are totally emo. They are not. Remember Nico? He was the sweetest demigod ever."

"Demigod?" Jane questioned, now looking at Ariel.

Tidbit was overcome with a fit of laughs. "That's funny. 'What's a demigod?' Priceless!"

The red head kicked the boy in the shin, grabbing Jane's hand. "Oh shut up! A demigod is a half mortal half god. We are demigods, sweetie."

Jane flinched, cowering away from the words. Her step-dad calls her sweetie. "Don't call me that... please."

"Alright?" Ariel murmured, confused. Then she shrugged. "Well, I have to get back to the Poseidon cabin... Tidbit, take care of the daughter of Hades."
