"Come on bounty we're going to get mama from the hospital." he barked in reply as I opened the door for him to jump in
When we got to the hospital I hooked up bounty to his harness and leash,I got permission from the hospital to do this ahead of time, "wanna go see mama?" he wagged his tail.
Before we went into Terri's room,I stopped making bounty get behind me,"hey ter you up for company?" I asked she had no idea that bounty was here. She loves him to death
"Ya,the nurses just helped me into my chair." she repiled.
"Close your eyes I got a surprise for ya."
"Okay." she replied
I brought bounty in the room,Terri was facing us but her eyes were closed bounty sat down in front of her,"go ahead baby girl."
When she opened her eyes she had the biggest smile on her,"hey baby boy I missed you." He whines happily wagging his tail, then he looked at the chair sniffing it "it's just mamas chair baby I have to use it now. So your going to help me more since I can't walk any more." she said petting bounty's head as he put his head on her lap.
"Ready to go?" I asked moving aside for her to go through.
"The doctor says it would be safer for a manual chair for me,Because he don't want me losing muscle in my arms. But the positive side it I can run you boys over if you guys piss me off." she said with a laugh." hey can I have bounty's leash I wanna see if he'll walk beside me."
I handed her his leash,she wrapped it around her left hand as she pushed her chair,"see bounty I'm still your mama. I'm just in a chair now. Now if we can get you trained to be like my aid dog so whenever daddy and the crew are gone they don't have to worry cuz I got you to help."
"Always the positive thinker ter." I replied
Once we got her signed out I pulled the truck in front and bounty got in then I helped ter in and put her chair in the back.
"Home here I come." she said looking out the window as bounty put his head on her lap.
"Good to have you home ter."
