Exactly me when I met The Poet and The Pendulum, the first NW song I heard. But also the first symphonic metal song I listened to, ever. So I wasn't used to it AT ALL. At first I found the sound a bit unsettling, honestly (also, maybe The Poet and The Pendulum isn't an easy listen, if you know what I mean). Nevertheless, the lyrics amazed me. So I decided to give NW another try and I heard other songs and instantly fell in love.
