Jessica pov When i dropped Jackson off at school i went to the courts so i could start the papers on adopting Jackson. When i got out of my car i fixed my coat as i locked my door.

As i walked in the room in needed to go to get the papers i saw a older women behind the desk." Hi,how can i help you?" She asked as she looked up at me." Hi,i am her to get adoption papers so i can adopt my little brother." I said as she nodded and went to go get the papers. When she came back she hands the papers i need to fill out. As i sat down and started to fill them out i heard yelling outside and then gun shoots. I get up and pull out my gun and run outside the room to see Nick laying down on the floor shot with another guy dead. I run over to Nick checking his pulse." Nick,Nick's can you hear me?" I asked as i put my gun away,just then Olivia and Amanda came running out." Is he okay?" Olivia asked as the paramedics came and put Nick on a stretcher." We need to get him to the hospital fast." One of them said as i looked at Olivia,Amanda and then i saw Fin." I will ride with him." I said as i walked with the paramedics into the elevator." Nick,if you can hear me don't die on me. Please,just hang on,just hang on and we will get you help." I said as the tears started to come out of my eyes. As we got to the hospital the doctors took Nick in the back fast. I was walking around the lobby as Olivia,Fin and Amanda came up to me." Hey,how's Nick?" Olivia asked as i stopped to look at him." One hit his liver so they had to do emergency surgery on him. And they are barely working on his knee now." I said as i ran my hand through my hair." Hey,do you want to go get some coffee and try to calm yourself down?" Olivia aked as i nodded and looked at the back door that leads to surgery before i left with Olivia." Look,i know that you and Nick are dating and i am happy for the both of you." Olivia said as i looked up at her." How did you know?" I asked as she laughed and shook her head at me." I see the way you guys look at each other and how you guys talk quietly to each other. Oh and how you guys are parents now." She said as i sighed and looked at her." Is it that noticeable?" I asked as she nodded." Yeah,so what is up. What's going on with you?" She asked as i ran my hand through my hir once again." Nick and i are moving in together,and i am going to adopt Jackson." I said as my stomach started to turn once again ever since the trip to Florida." Welk,i hope you and Nick are happy together." She said as we got up and walked back to see if Nick is out yet." Thanks for everything,Olivia." I said as i pulled her into a hug." No problem,i am here if you ever need me." She said as we pulled back and walked in. Just as we walked in Amanda walked over to us." Nick is out,and he won't see anyone until he sees you Jessica." Amanda said as i nodded and walked back to see Nick in the hospital bed." Hey." I said as i walked into his room as he put a box under his blanket." Hey." He said as he sat up carefully. I walked over to him and hmgave him a kiss on the forehead before i sat down on a chair next to his bed." I'm happy that you are okay." I said as i grabbed his hand. He smiled at me as he ran his thumb over my ring finger of my left hand." I was going to do this when everyone was around and we had the kids but i think now is a great time." Nick said as i looked at him confused." Nick what are you talking about?" I asked as i moved closer to him." I know we only been together for a month now,but i love you,Jessica. So i was wondering if you would marry me?" Nick asked as he pulled out the box from under the blanket and opened the box for me to see the beautiful ring.

I put my hnd over my mouth as the tears came back." Yes." I said as he smiled and slipped the ring on my finger. I got up and kissed him as he kissed back. Just then i heard clapping and i pulle back to see everyone. I also saw Olivia holding Jackson as Amanda was holding Zara. I opened my arms as both Jackson and Zara ran to us and hugged us,but being careful with Nick." I finally get a new mommy." Zara said as she hugged me again." And i finally get a new daddy." Jackson said as he climbed on the bed and carefully hugged Nick." Yeah,we are one big happy family." Nick said as everyone came in to say congratulations and get well to Nick. I looked over everyone and i smiled thinking just a little over 5 months being here i have the perfect job,fiance,and my soon to be new family.
Later that night Visiting hours where over so me and the kids was saying bye to Nick. Zara and Jackson went first as i walked up to him." I will see you tomorrow if i have time,okay." I said as he nodded nd gave me a kiss." Oh and before i forget,i talked to your doctor and you get to go home the day after tomorrow." I said as he smiled." Thank god,i can't wait to be home with my new family." Nick said we then said bye and went home. When we got home Jackson got into his night clothes as i gave Zara one of my shirts to sleep in and it looked like a dress on her. I said night to the kids as they had a little sleep over as i went to my room and went to sleep thinking about what happened today.
