Chapter 12

Ariadne P.O.V
I couldn't control the temper everything came back to me like a flood. All the pain was suddenly tearing inside of me. The image of my mother, my real mother lying still on the cold damp concrete just sickens my stomach. Angry. I am so angry filled with rage dying for revenge just keeps bubbling deep inside of me.

Looking up at the old man sitting on that very cliff just makes my anger explodes clenching on teeth. I just want to kill him right here and right now. I want to let everyone know what he did to my mother, to his own wife, the one who should've become queen.

Alex P.O.V

"Aiden and I we searched a lot about Ariadne past and her relationship to the ocean and when we did everything fits together. Ariadne mother Emma she was destined to overthrow the mermaid king and become the new ruler at the age of 20, but things didn't come nicely as the destiny foretold." 

My heart quenched. "What happen?"

"The mermaid king knew the existence of the mermaid who was going to overthrow him, but he didn't know what she looked like, and when he did it was one of the mermaid that he had affair with him. Before the king killed the mermaid in secret she sends her daughter Lilith to the land. The king knew she had a daughter with him and wanted to kill the daughter along with her, but before  that he didn't know that Lilith was also a threat to his throne. So he didn't ask much question and killed the mermaid in secret. Then few years later the destiny told the mermaid king that the mermaid he had an affair their child Lilith will not just take away his throne, but also bring darkness to his kingdom. But the weird thing is we have no biography Emma life and somehow being the mermaid who can overthrow the mermaid king she inherited some sort of weird powers that is one thing up till now Aiden and I couldn't find." 

I listened to each and every word that Frost had said and the information that they haven't gathered. "How did you get these information?"

"Well I am one of the four most powerful supernatural out there aren't I, Alex?" 

"Well that doesn't explain really well beside we've been friends since we were a child but I never know what you and Aiden are?" I looked at my brother, Darren. He looked like he is glad that I asked the question.

"Perhaps it is time,"  Aiden said and while looking at my brother. "But Alex please respect some older deities." 

"You,"  I laughed. "Deities you got to be kidding me,"  I laughed again. But Frost and Aiden just raised an eyebrow looking at me. My brother just closed his eyes and his hand hiding his face. "No way!" I exclaimed. "You and Frost are gods?" They both just smiled.

"Not just us our mother and father as well don't you find us weird disappearing from time to times."
