Meeting Her

Chapter 14

I could feel it. The ocean was somehow linked to Ariadne. All the image of her just comes running into my head. She is afraid, sad, lonely, and betrayed. All of her feelings just came rushing into me. The beast inside of me was angry, and I couldn't helped but to agree with the beast. For the first time we had something to agree on, and I couldn't help but to have a smile on my face. I don't know whether if this a good thing or not but for now our main goal is to save Ariadne and from her from turning dark.

I let the current take me to Ariadne I will trust the current cause that is the only option I have left. I closed my eyes and looked deeper into myself hoping that I could find the beast within me. I never seen the beast for myself, but she does appear a lot of time for others and they weren't so lucky to meet her. She'll only come out when she is very hungry. 

As I looked deeper into myself I found that I was in a very dark abyss and a glowing woman was in front of me. She looks like a replica of me but with different color eyes they were blue and her hair was grey with a little white. 

"You're here at last,"  she said her lips was so pale. "Do you know how long I have waited for this moment?" she asked. Despite her angelic looks she turned the dark abyss to a burning fire place and skulls everywhere.

I was quite startled. "You have no sense in choosing when to come to greet me. Right now we have only one objective and that is saving Ariadne, and you choose this time to come. Oh, Alex, dear, please check your schedule next time." 

"I came here to ask you for your help and your cooperation to work with me." 

"Oh?" she looked surprised. "Haven't I showed much cooperation in all these years. You didn't choose to feed so I did it for you. You didn't show your true form to others and I did it, haven't I done my part?"

I sighed. "You didn't have to do that. I didn't want to do any of that in the first place, and you always have show up to ruin my peaceful days. I wanted to be normal, but then you have to show up and show the people the freak that I am." 

"Oh, but you are, not a freak, but a monster because I reside in you." 

"So will you help me or not?" I clenched my hand. "That is all I am asking for." 

"I will only if you know my name." I looked straight into her eyes confused. 

"What?" Come to think about it I never knew her name.

"Exactly, you never knew my name. So now remember it cause you will need it but once you call my name there is no going back, and if you call my name we will become whole for my name is Death."
