Adeline POV

"Adeline!"

I feel two arms wrapped around me with force coming on my back, pushing me forward causing me to loose my balance.

"My goodness" I say as I put one hand over my heart and start to catch my breath. I hear a chuckle come from Austin as he quickly kisses my forehead making me smile.

"How's my favorite person doing?" He asks as he leans against the lockers smiling at me making direct eye contact.

"Iffy. I'm just tired" I say as I let out a yawn, making my eyes water.

"AUSTIN!" A voice in the distant yells when all is the sudden Austin is being pushed to the ground by the one and only, my best friend Hayleigh. Oh yea, and Austins best friend.

"YOU SAID YOU WOULD GET ME CHOCOLATE" she yells at him as she holds his arms to the ground.

"ITS IN MY CAR" he yells back trying to escape from her grip, which was ever so quickly.

I had always been jealous of Hayleigh and Austin's friendship, yet I never told anyone. They really could be a couple considering how close they are, but Hayleigh says she only likes him as a brother.

"Austin, I have to go home. I have to sleep" I tell him as I pull him in for a quick hug before I go.

"Well darn, okay then. I'll see you later! Be safe please!" Austin says as he pecks my lips quickly before I turn around and head down the halls.

As I walk down the halls I see Elle, Austin's sister. She was very pretty and didn't even have to try that hard. She was currently wearing Nike shoes, Nike shorts, And a ivory Ella tshirt with her hair in two French braids. Elle was talking to Asher, Austin's other sibling. Asher was wearing Nike shoes, adidas pants, and a shirt that tugged his body in all the right places. Oh and did I mention that they are triplets? But don't worry, I can tell the difference haha.

I look over at them until I notice that Asher glances over in my direction as he's talking to his sister. I quickly turn away from him and start speed walking down the halls so I don't have to be near him.

I'm not scared of Asher. Trust me, I'm not. There's just something about him. I just don't know what. It's hard to explain.

I push the school doors open and find my car. I take off my backpack and look in one of my pockets for my keys.

Not there.

I quickly check the other pocket.

Not there.

I roam through my whole backpack until I come to the conclusion that I don't have my keys. I look through the car door windows and- oh wait.

I see my keys.

On the floor.

The car floor.

"You have got to be kidding me!" I groan in frustration as I sit down on the uncomfortable concrete next to my car.

"You good there?"

I run my fingers through my hair and look up only to make eye contact with Asher Terry. My heart quickly skips a beat as I quickly get up to stand. But once I do, I loose my balance and fall over.

Well, until Asher was there to catch me.

Wow, I really feel like I'm in one of those really cliche books.

"Oh uh, sorry" I say as I pull away from him and stand up, scratching my head in embarrassment.

"You're fine, but I hope you know you look like an idiot looking in your car like that" he says and chuckles at the end.

"Well, I guess I am an idiot because I locked my keys in my car" I sigh after saying my sentence.

"Well, need a ride home?"

wait a sec

Did Asher just-

No way

What?

"Um yea actually"

"Well that must suck then. Have fun walking" he smirks as he comes up to me and ruffles my hair before turning around and walking off.

What the actual heck.

I groan in frustration once again and grab my backpack. I throw it around my back as I grip my phone in my hand. I unlock my phone and dial a number.

"Hey Austin, can you take me home?"

|•|•|•|•|

"Why are we here again?" I ask Austin as I unbuckle myself and get out of the car.

"I like being around you, that's why," he tells me with a smile as he wraps an arm around my shoulder. I smile in response as we walk to the front door, letting ourselves inside to his huge house.

He was wayyyy more rich than I would ever be.

But that's good because he has a big pantry, meaning more food for him to buy and me to eat.

As we walk inside I see Elle at the dining room table doing homework, Asher in the living room watching tv, and I'm assuming his parents are not home at the moment.

"Whatever you guys do, just make sure you use protection" I hear Asher say as he changes the channel.

My face turns completely red as Austin says something back to him, but I was too busy blushing to hear.

Austin takes my hand and leads me upstairs to his room. I open up the door and run to his onto his bed. I get under the covers and get in a comfortable position as I hear Austin laugh from a distance.

"Wow, you really are tired" he says as he comes over and sits on his bed.

"It was a ruff day"

"Why's that?"

"They didn't have any s'mores poptarts left so I had to have strawberry" I whine.

"Oh poor Adeline" he laughs at me as I stick my tongue out at him.

"Anyways, goodnight Austin. I'll see you in about an hour" I say as I grip the covers and shut my eyes.

"Goodnight silly," he giggles as he kisses my head"

Is it bad I just imagined he was Asher?
