Epilogue

*3 years later*

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" jacob exclaims as he jumps on me and shatters me with kisses to wake me up.

"jacob, i'm tired," i groan as i pull the covers up a bit more to cover me.

"wake up adeline! it's your 21st birthday!" he says and picks me up. i don't respond, instead i just hide my face in the crook of his neck.

"you're so cute," he smiles and leads me into our kitchen. two years ago we had moved into a apartment and have been together since. jacob had quit his fighting as well to stay home with me.

"alright baby," he says and sets me down on the couch.  "i would like you to get ready because i have a great surprise for you," he says and smiles.

i bet i have a better one

"i want food first," i whine.

"lucky for you, i made bacon, eggs, and toast," he smiles. i smile like a child as he grabs it from the kitchen and sets it in front of me. i gladly start chomping down on everything as he goes into our bedroom to get ready.

"alright addie, time for you to get ready," he says as he walks out.

"holy crap you're hot," i say. he came our looking like a model in white jeans and a black tshirt. he smiles and kisses my lips as i scurry off into our bedroom.

"holy crap you're hot," jacob says as he looks me up and down. i smile at how he repeated my words and his facial expression.

right now i'm wearing a navy blue skirt with a white and yellow striped crop top and some lowtop converse.

i might as well wear a crop top now because soon i won't be able to.

"ready to go into the living room for your surprise?" jacob asks.

"i mean, i guess."

he laughs and grabs my hand as he takes me into the other room.

"SURPRISE!" everyone yells. i look around the room and see all of the friends that me and jacob have made in the past couple of years.

i cover my hands over my mouth and look around wide eyed.

how did they decorate the place and get in here, and i didn't even notice???

"addie, we brought over some alcohol for you to try since you're officially 21," jenna says and winks.

"it's your birthday, do whatever," jacob says and smiles as he wraps an arm around me.

"i don't think i should drink you guys," i say and push away the beer that was handed to me.

"you sure?" jacob asks. everyone in the room also has confused looks.

"i don't think it would be good on our baby," i say and rub my tummy. but once i do, everyone gets dead silent.

"IM GONNA BE A DAD?" jacob exclaims. i look at him and slowly nod my head.

"HELL YEA! OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" jacob yells and picks me up. everyone starts cheering and saying 'congratulations' as i'm in the air. he plops a couple of kisses on my mouth as i giggle.

"i love you too," i whisper back.

so much can happen in just a couple of years. things you wouldn't really expect. who would've guessed that i would be having a kid? definitely not me. but in not mad about it.

as long as i have jacob by my side.
