Adeline POV
Asher had finally pulled into the school's parking lot. As he was pulling in, I undo my seat belt and grab my backpack as I movie my hair out of the way, just so my hair wont get caught under my backpack. He puts the car in park as I open up the door, pulling the backpack over my shoulders. He gets out as well, walking to the back of his car as he gets his backpack out of the back seat.
"Hey, what's the real reason you needed to wear my sweatshirt?" Asher asks as he walks over to me, putting his backpack on at the same time.
"I'll tell you later," I respond only saying that because i didn't have enough time to think of a reasonable and believable excuse. He nods his head as we walk side to side into school.
Once we enter school, all eyes were on us. People were whispering, staring, and pointing. I look up at Asher and see him roll his eyes at everyone. I walk over to my locker and unlock it, only needing some chapstick out of there.
"Hey Adeline!" Austin says as he comes up to me with Hayleigh next to him. In all honesty, i'm hella mad that he gave her a ride over me.
"Hi!" I respond, trying to be nice.
"Woah woah woah, wait a sec. Is that Asher's sweatshirt?!" Hayleigh asks, a lot lounder than what I hoped. I just sigh and nod my head. Austin on the other hand, well, he looks mad but also really laid back about it. Something that I didn't expect.

"Do I have to?" I complain. Right now I was on the phone with Austin. He was begging me to go to this party tonight. It was a soccer party that everyone was invited to, just to celebrate the school's non-loosing streak of games.
"Please babe! You don't have to wear a dress, just something to party in," He tells me, pleading me to go.
"Ugh, fine. What time does it start?" I ask.
"9 pm it starts," he tells me. I look up at the clock on my wall trying to figure out how much time I had to get ready.
"Alright. I gotta get ready, bye!" I hang up, not even waiting for him to reply. I walk over to my closet and search for some decent clothes. I was not the dress kind of girl, therefore jeans would have to do. I pull out a pair of nice skinny jeans and plop those onto my bed. I search for more and find a loose, flowy, spaghetti strap crop top. It was red which was a risky color, but it was cute so why not? I slip off the clothes I was currently wearing and slide of my skinny jeans, along with my top. I walk over to my mirror and examine my outfit. It was super cute, but you could see the cuts on my wrist. I sigh as i walk back over to my closet and find a leather jacket. I slide the cold material on my body and look in the mirror again.
I sure as hell looked like a bad ass.
I walk back over to my closet and do a look over at all my shoes. I grab my black combat boots and slide those on, making sure my jeans are tucked into the boot. Now all we have left is hair and makeup. Ugh.

As I me and Austin pull up to the party, I look in the car mirror to make sure I look fine.
"Babe, you're fine. You look hot," he tells me. I laugh a bit as I unbuckle my seatbelt and get out of the car. He gets out as well and gets on my right side. He interlocks our fingers and he smiles as we walk up together to the front door of the house.
This week has been so stressful. I have an F and the end of the quarter is on Friday. Honestly, people pray for me haha. Also, random thought, but I really want a boyfriend right now that I can hug. Also, I hate proof reading my chapters so if you find a mistake, sorry haha.
