Chapter 4

Every step I took away from her, I felt a strange pain in my heart. I was letting her go. Just for now. Soon you will be mine, Belle. I will make you my wife.

Now I have to concentrate on my present job, which is to go to my company and take a look if everything was working smoothly. My father built an entire empire which is legal, other than our illegal business. So that no one notices us. Even if they did, no one will speak. Because this place is  completely  under my control, before it was under my father's rule. I took the position after the death of my father.

Though I have a company, I have appointed Cameron to look after it. He is like my brother. We were brought up together, since our parents were best friends. Since then we have a relationship more than just a best friend. So I entrusted my company to him.

I was going to meet him after meeting the man who owned me some favour. I was glad, he chose this café. Otherwise I wouldn't have met my Belle. I smiled at her thought. Great I have started smiling like an idiot. What are you doing to me, my Angel?

I called Cam on his phone.

"I will be there in five" I said when he picked up after the second ring.

The café is just five minutes away from my company. Just then I realised something, if Belle came here walking then she might be working or has her home in this area. I had a sudden thought, what if she was working in my company? I will look into it when I go there the first thing or I will have to enquire about it to Cam.

Amelia's P.O.V

I turned back and walked inside just as he walked away from the café towards the side where my office was located.

I saw Emma in the counter talking to a customer. I walked up to her and waited till she finished her talking.

I took out my phone while I stood there and scrolled through it when I heard Emma calling me.

"Hey girl?" she said.

"How are you?" I asked straight away dropping the formalities because I am a regular customer here.

"I am fine. Do you need the usual?" she enquired.

I nodded my head to which she typed something while I handed the money.

"So how was work?" she started with her same question she asked whenever she saw me.

"The same, boring, old meetings and taking coffee to my boss since his assistant is on a vacation" I replied smugly.

"Is it that bad?" she asked curiously.

"No, just sometimes I get bored doing the same thing over and over" I said honestly.

"Here is your order" she said while handing me the red velvet cake which Abby asked.

"Thank you. I have to go to the club. Me and my friends are having a girl's night. So I need to get ready. I am sorry, I don't have time to have a talk with you right now. Maybe later?" I asked hopefully giving her one of my puppy eyes. I know no one can resist that.

"Fine, but you owe me one" she said.

"Okay, sure" I replied and took the box which contained the cake and went out of the cafe.

I stopped a minute outside the café, just to notice few men entering into the office where I worked. I guess the CEO arrived, I could see his back from my vision. I hoped to see his face but to my bad luck I couldn't as he entered in while the rest of the men followed suit.

I walked back to car parking in the office building and also in hope to see the CEO but to my luck he had already gone to his office. I went to the car and unlocked it and drove away from there, thinking about that mysterious hot guy, who I met in the café.

Will I ever get to see him again? I thought to myself.

What I did not know was that my wish would come soon!
