"So what are you doing here?" I asked meeting his eyes.
"I am here with my friends" he replied in a calm demeanour and sat in the seat which was unoccupied next to me.
We were stuck with each other.
Hugh and Jack excused themselves and joined the girls on the dance floor.
"I don't see them anywhere" I countered.
"They went to meet someone inside" he replied folding his hands and kept them under his chin and stared at me.
"Why are you staring?" I stuttered.
"Because I can" he replied smirking.
I blushed deep red in embarrassment.
"You look breath taking" he said out of nowhere, still his eyes on me.
"Thank you" I replied shyly, still blushing at his comment.
"Did you come with them?" he questioned.
"Who?" I asked in confusion.
"Those guys?" he asked pointing at Jack and Hugh who were on the dance floor.
"No" I denied, " I came with Abbigail and Cindy, my friends" I continued, clarifying myself.
"Where are they?"
"Abby is on the floor and Cindy is off with some guy, I guess" I mumbled the last part to myself.
"Why didn't you go to the dance floor?" he asked, his eyebrows raised.
"I don't dance" I shot at him.
"Why not?"
" I am not interested"
His gaze was on me the entire time.
"Do you want another one?" the bartender asked breaking us from the stance.
"No, thank you"
"Get me one" Caiden demanded rather rudely, might I add.
"Yes sir" he stuttered and scrambled away to get Caiden's drink.
"You didn't have to scare that poor man" I reprimanded him, slapping his hand.
He seem amused by my actions.
"Sorry" I quickly apologized, scared he might snap at me like he did with the bartender.
"No problem. Why did you apologize?" he asked frowning.
"I didn't want you to snap at me like you did to him" I whispered scared of his reaction.
I was right. He became angry, he clenched his fist. I moved away from him slightly, but didn't leave my seat, which he noticed and he suddenly became calm.
Something is definitely wrong with this guy.
He took hold of my hand and pulled me to my feet.
"Let's dance" he said pulling me to the dance floor.
"I really can't dance" I said.
"I'll teach you"
He kept his hand on my waist and led me to the floor.
"Keep your right hand on my shoulder" he instructed while taking my left hand in his right, and the other one in my waist.
I felt a jolt of electricity pass through me. I felt tingles at the contact of our skin.
"This is the first time, I am dancing with some guy" I announced.
"I am glad, I am the first guy, you're dancing with," he said smiling.
"What do you do for a living?" I asked, instantly his face changed into a confused one.
"I run a company" he replied after a pause.
"Wow, I didn't expect that" I replied honestly.
"What company is that? If you don't mind me asking" I asked curiously.
"The one you work in" he replied with a smirk, making my mouth hand open.
"Wh-a-t?" I stuttered.
"I own it," he said as if it was not a big deal.
"Does that mean, the day we met, you were going to the office?" I asked, having difficulty in graspin the fact that he is my boss.
"Yes," he replied giving me a soft smile making me forget about the irritation I felt due to his short answers.
His smile is doing something in me. He looked gorgeous.
"You should smile more, you look beautiful" I blurted out without thinking.
"Beautiful?" he asked with a mock glare.
"I meant you look handsome" I corrected.
"Well, you look cute, while you blush," he said making me blush deeper.
He pulled me to his chest and I wrapped my arms around him.
I just wished at that moment that we stay like this forever.
What I didn't know is that, my wish will come true, so soon.
