Chapter 14- Clumsy

-Vanessa's POV-

It's been a few hours since I last saw Justin. Mya came back to his house and told Justin she was gonna take me shopping. He gave her one of his many credit cards before I could reject because she pulled me out of the room. While we were getting my clothes, she told me something. Now we both need some space..From each other..

"Mya, what do you mean I shouldn't be with Justin?"

"Vanessa, Khalil told me how he is. I don't think he's good for you." Mya bit her lip nervously.

"Listen, I know you don't like him but to try to tell me who's good for me is a little extreme right now don't ya think?"

"I'm serious Ness-"

"Mya stop it, there's not even anything going on between us-"

"Vanessa just listen to me! You need to see past what you idolize about him and think about how damaged a person like him can really be." She screamed.

"I know he can be damaged! Don't you think I know? I wanna help him."

"He's not a good person Nessa!"

That, right there, is what started the first ever relationship threatening argument between Mya and me. And that's not even all of it.

Where is she now? On her way to Malibu with Khalil. She needs to blow off some steam. We both do. Of course Khalil went with her.. Oh and get this, she told Carter and Alex about this whole situation and they've decided to stay out of it. I mean like completely stay out of it, they're not even talking to either of us. I guess it's Alex's way of putting us in a time out. Despite how weird that just sounded, it probably made sense to Alex. Anyways, I know Carter and Alfredo have been together, and Ryan just left back to Canada but before that, he and Alex were together. They don't wanna give me the details about that since we're doing the whole 'not talking' thing.

When we got back from the mall Mya and Khalil got some of their things and left. I managed to see Ryan and say my goodbyes before he left too. I don't know where Alex is now.. Last time I saw Carter and Fredo they were watching a movie together.

Justin told me to go relax in his room. So here I am, it's 3am. I can't fall asleep. Justin is still in the studio. I'm on my phone watching reruns of The Vampire Diaries on Netflix. I swear this is the best show.

-Justin's POV-

"Thank you for helping me Alex, this song is gonna be great."

"It already is." She smiled. "So it's called Confident?"

"Yeah... Hey tell me, what happened with you and Ryan?" She blushed.

"He took me to this really fancy restaurant and we had a candlelit dinner. By the end of the night.. We kissed." She covered her face to hide her blush.

"That's so cute." I chuckled. I'm definitely gonna text him later and bother him about this.

"Yeah, he's so sweet." She giggled.

"I'm happy he finally found a girl that's good for him."

"You think I'm good for him?"

"Of course." I smiled. He really does need a girl like her.. Just how I need a girl like Vanessa. A moment passed where she looked completely zoned out.

"You ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine.. This is just surreal. Last time I dreamed about staying in a house this big and being in a recording studio I pictured it being my own." She gave me a sad smile.
