"Well.. There's goes my money." I sigh, handing the cashier two-hundred and ten dollars. She smiles at me and turns to put the money in the cash register.
"It's all for a good cause Vanessa." Alex laughs, holding onto her two bags.
"Oh yeah, attire for some private island in the Caribbean is totally worth my savings." I snorted. "Have a nice day." I tell the cashier and make my way out of the store with Alex next to me. We pass by four young girls-probably around the age of fifteen-laughing as one of them modeled some ridiculous looking clothes. One of them spots us and looks kind of shocked. Me and Alex give each other the same longing look and at the same time mutter, "We're old." Alex pushes open the door to the store and we walk out, both holding up our hands to block the sun.
"Where the heck did those two go?" I look around at all the people walking past us, in search for the two buttheads.
"They probably went into that Subway over there, come on." Alex nodded her head to the restaurant and pulled me across the street. I couldn't hold back the laughter when we walked in to see Mya and Carter chewing down on their footlong sandwiches. "Told ya." Alex muttered as we watched them in amazement, they were eating so quickly. I gave Alex a fist bump, giving her props for calling it.
"Um, maybe we should leave the beasts be in their natural habitat, you know what they say about messing with animals when they're eating." I said cautiously, causing Alex to snort.
"When has that stopped us before?" She grinned before leading the way to the beasts table. We sit down next to them just in time to hear a manly burp straight from Carter. I raise my eyebrows at her and the four of us laugh.
"Well Alex, I guess they were hungry." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Hungry? HUNGRY? That is an understatement. You two had me and Mya shopping all morning. The last time we ate was, well I don't know, yesterday!" Carter says dramatically. She gives us a deadpan stare before saying, "We. Were. Starving."

"Yeah! And my feet hurt. Shopping has a limit guys." Mya pouts and takes another bite of her sandwich.
"Well damn, seems like we should have left their asses alone." Alex snorts.

"See I told you! No messing with the beasts when they're eating!" I shouted, tapping my nose.

"Hey I can be a beast. As long as I get food." Carter smiles and takes a sip of her soda, shrugging as she winks at us.

"I will be a beast five times over if it means food." Mya states in the same tone.

"Oh my god, I think it really is them." A high pitched voice sounded to the right of me, cutting off the laugh I was about to admit from Myas comment. I furrow my eyebrows and see that my friends are all wearing the same expression. I look up and see the four girls from the store that me and Alex were envying. One of them starred at us with admiration.
"Holy crap, you're Vanessa. You're dating Justin!" She squeals, jumping up and down a little.
"Victoria! Calm down!" A girl with dark curly hair put a hand on her arm to emphasize that she needs to chill.
"But look at them! They got to spend time living with Justin!" She sighs dreamily.

"Here we go." One girl said annoyed, crossing her arms and rolling her eyes. I laugh.

"Don't forget Fredo! Oh the things I would do to live with Fredo.." The short one trails off in thought. Well okay then.

"Sorry we're being rude. I'm Alyanna, this fangirl here is Victoria, the one shaking her head is Shaina, and the one lost in a daydream about Alfredo Flores is Marianna." Alyanna pointed to each of them as they waved to us eagerly.

"Well hi guys. Um its so nice to see that we have fans." I grin at the four of them. They remind me of us I think, when we were younger. "Can I please get a picture with you Vanessa? I mean.. You're dating my idol!" Victoria holds up her phone eagerly.

"Sure thing kiddo." I smile at her and stand up. As I put my shopping bags down on the seat I notice a paparazzo outside Subway taking pictures of us. Oh great. What a great way to brighten my day. Please take note of the sarcasm.
