When the Doctor and his companions arrived at the doors of Ophelia's Orphanage, he knocked twice.
The door was opened almost immediately by a little girl, like she had been expecting them.
When Angela locked eyes with the little girl, she screamed.
"Angela!" Lewis snapped. "What's wrong?"
She turned her back to the girl, and Lewis and the Doctor went to see what was wrong with her.
"H-how did you not see her face?" Angela hissed, her voice filled with disgust.
The Doctor raised his eyebrow and turned back around to the girl. She had short blonde hair and she was very short herself. The only thing he noticed about her that was any different was the fact that she had Down Syndrome.
"What's wrong with her face?" Lewis asked and he didn't want to know the answer.
"It's hideous!" Angela snapped. "She's a monster!"
Lewis's jaw dropped. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.
The Doctor was equally as disgusted at Angela's outburst.
"What? How can I be the only one who sees something wrong with her? She should be put down. It should be put down."
Before Angela could be reprimanded, the girl stepped out from the lighthouse and tapped Angela on the shoulder.
Angela spun on her heels and backed away as soon as she saw it was the girl.
"They don't like you," she whispered.
"Excuse me child?" Angela asked.
"Who are 'they?'" the Doctor asked.
"My friends. The spirits. I am Cynthia Parker and YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!!"
The girl, Cynthia, stepped backwards into the lighthouse and slammed the door shut in the Doctor and his companion's faces.
