"Okay, EVERYBODY LEAVE CYNTHIA ALONE AND GET THE HELL OUT!"
Lewis never would have considered himself to be an authoritative figure, but it's exactly what he would have been described as.
The group of nasty girls began to leave the room one by one. Cynthia made a move to leave but Lewis stopped her.
"I didn't mean you," Lewis said.
Cynthia was still sobbing. "The spirits are my friends."
"Of course, honey, of course," Lewis soothed, pulling Cynthia in for a hug.
In that moment, the Doctor and Jacintha both entered the room to see what the commotion was. Angela made sure to stay away from Cynthia, her disgust clearly evident on her face.
"Doctor. Cynthia here claims there are spirits in this house. Do you think you could do something about it?" Jacintha announced, so annoyingly condescending.
"Yes," the Doctor snapped. He took out his sonic screwdriver and started to scan the room for any spirits.
Suddenly, all the lights in the room flickered out and green and blue entities started to form in the air. They swirled and flew about. Jacintha screamed and immediately ran from the room. The doors flew shut after her and Angela jumped at the sharp sound of them.
"It appears poor Cynthia isn't lying," the Doctor told Lewis and Angela. "I've met her spirit friends before. And they aren't spirits. They're the Gelth!"
