Crescent City

(Aria's Apartment)

Aria's POV.

'Ring ring... Ring ring... Ring ring...'

I start to wake up to a ringing noise, and I open my eyes to see I've fallen asleep on my sofa with duck-tape attached to my face.

"What the..." I trial off as I remove the duck-tape "Ow" I groan and look over to my phone to see Sophie is calling me. I then reach over and pick it up from my coffee-table and answer it "Sophie, what can I do for you?" I ask her as I sit up and rub my eyes.

"Its Monique, she's back" She tells me, and a look of confusion cross' my face.

"T-that's impossible" I stutter into the phone, and I stand up and begin to pace near my packed boxes.

"Exactly what I thought, but she is sitting in front of me at Rousseau's with a bowl of Gumbo in front of her" She tells me, and I start to look at my packed boxes.

"I'll be right there" I tell her, and hang up the phone "Good thing I Haven't called the movers or returned the lease yet" I mutter to myself as I walk out of my apartment, and I run into Cami.

"Hey Aria, what's gotten you into a hurry?" She asks me as we walk down the stairs.

"Its Monique, one of the Harvest girls have came back... from the dead" I whisper the last part.

"Oh yeah, I'm sorry about that. Marcel told me yesterday, but since this Monique girl came back, what about Davina?" She asks me.

"That's what I'm going to go see her about" I tell her with a wide smile.

"Ok good luck, I'm going to see how my uncle is doing" She tells me as we step outside.

"Alright, I'll catch you later" I tell her, and head towards Rousseau's with no other thought but getting my sister back.

As I turn the corner to Rousseau's, I immediately find myself walking alongside Marcel.

"Marcel? I'm guessing you heard about Monique?" I ask him, and he looks down at me as we walk.

"Yeah, Its all everyone is talking about after she supposedly broke out of her family's tomb in the cemetery" He tells me as we finally reach Rousseau's.

"Lets just hope we can get Davina back too" I tell him, and we walk in to see Sophie sitting across Monique who has her back to us.

"Monique Deveraux. Everyone in the Quarter's been talking about you" Marcel says to her, and she turns around to face us, but looks at me with slight worry.

"Classy. You kill her mother and now you've come to threaten her? What are you doing with him, Aria?" Sophie asks us as she stands, but I ignore her as I focus on how Monique is alive, and she keeps staring straight back at me.

"I'm not here to threaten anyone" Marcel tells her, and Monique finally breaks eye contact with me as she looks up at Marcel.

"What do you want, Marcel?" Monique asks him as she also rises from her chair.

"There were three more girls sacrificed during the Harvest. I want to bring them back" Marcel tells her.

"Mainly Davina" I add. 

"Who are you kidding, Marcel? You don't care about those girls. You just want Davina back so you can use her power again" Sophie argues with Marcel.

"Sophie, that's not it, we just want her alive" I say, standing up for Marcel.

"They're telling the truth" Monique tells her sister.
