(Aria's Apartment)
Aria's POV.
After Marcel left last night, I decided to go through some of my grimoir's to try and find an unhexing spell. But like any hex it can only be taken care of two ways, the witch who done the hex undoes it or death.
I then get brought out of my thoughts when someone knocks on my door, so I get up and answer it. But I definitely wasn't expecting who I thought, a smirking Klaus.
"Klaus, what do you want?" I ask him as I take a few steps back, and he tries to walk in, but is stopped because he isn't invited "Boundary spells for vampires, you have to be re-invited in. But why would I do that?" I ask him sarcastically, and he smirks as he pulls out a letter.
"I'm here to invite you to a party that the witches of New Orleans are putting together at my home, La Fête des Bénêdictions." He tells me, and I look at him confused.
"Feast of the Blessings? For the Harvest girls?" I ask him confused.
"Yes, Genevieve wanted it for Davina and her friends." He tells me, and I look down at the invitation when he mentioned Davina.
"Why invite me?" I ask him as I try to shake Davina off my mind.
"Why not, every other witch in New Orleans is going." He tells me.
"And you delivered every other witches' invitations yourself?" I ask him, and he smirks as he inches as close as he can towards the door of my apartment.
"I delivered your invitation myself to let you know I will not harm you. I have forgiven both of my siblings for their doings, I wanted to forgive you." He tells me in a sincerer tone.
"Don't make me regret this... You can come in." I invite him, and he smirks as he walks in and he hands me the invitation as he closes the door "I'll think about it." I tell him, and I place the invitation on one of the stack of grimoir's.
"I didn't know you had so many witch cook books, Genevieve and the other witches would be fascinated my all of these." He tells me as I head into the kitchen.
"Well its too bad they're not going to see them, I'm sending them back to my coven in a few weeks before... Did you want anything else, Klaus?" I ask him, and he looks at me strangely.
"Before what?" He asks me, but I shake my head.
"Its not important." I tell him, and I turn to get a drink of scotch but he vamp speeds in front of me.
"Before what? What is happening in a few weeks?" He asks me with narrowed eyes, and sigh trying to think of something.
"I'm... Visiting a few witches in London." I tell him, and try to turn away from him but he catches my upper arm.
"Your lying, tell me the truth." He tells me, and I try to pull away from him, but his grip tightens.
"Klaus, let. Go. Of. Me." I tell him as I look in his eyes, and his face scowls before he releases my arm. I then walk over to my front door and open it "I think you should leave, I'll try to come tonight." I tell him, and he nods his head before leaving and I close the door behind him. I then let out a deep breath I didn't know I held.
When the Fête des Bénédictions finally started, I could see the whole thing from my balcony as I was dressed for the party which was happening after.
