It was Valentine's Day February 14th
My baby took me to a special place

I watched as E played around on the piano it was 6 in the morning February 14th Valentines Day to be exact and we had just finished making love. After our shower today she went straight to the piano 
He proposed to me
He proposed with a diamond ring
I started crying
He placed it on my finger and I said Yes
He proposed to me (My Baby)
He proposed with a diamond ring
I couldn't believe it I looked in his eyes and I said Yes

I took a few deep breaths as i pulled the 4,500 dollar ring from our draw and silently walked towards her. I got on one knee as i looked at her back facing me admiring her beautiful glowing skin. I worked up the courage and tapped her on the shoulder

I'll never forget that night
It was 8:43 pm to be precise
He looked in my eyes and said
You've made me the happiest man alive
And as soon as I got home
I called my mother on the phone
I said mama you won't believe
What just happened to me

As she turned around i opened the box. I heard the radio silently in the back. Ground

I couldn't believe it
I looked in his eyes and I said Yes

No words were spoken until she whispered yes to me and fell. Into my arms. I slipped the ring onto her finger and softly kissed her on her lips. I have been waiting so long for this moment

We sat there for a while until i began making our bed all i wanted was to hold her the rest of the moment. I stopped to here her in the bath room and my mamas voice booming through the room. I smiled to myself hearing the excitement in her voice i she said "he proposed to me"
