Chapter 30

Its been a week since My breakup with Drake. Mum and Kelly have been really supportive, trying to distract from the fact that im feeling absolutely miserable. I was starting to study too which got my mind off things , i got more ready and focused on my exams. I took them last week and im gonna get my results in a week! Hopefully they will turn out to be good , if not then i will feel even more doomed. I havent seen Drake around in school lately, only once or twice in the hallway, but I strode pass him acting as if I didnt know him at all! Rumours have already spread about our breakup and all i can say that alot of the girls were relieved about our breakup! I bet they are all going to try to hit on Drake no matter what happens.

It was Saturday night, the days were going to quick! I decided to call Kelly around for a sleepover , we havent had one for quiet a while. We were sat down on the couch in our PJs , eating cookie dough ice cream and watching a major chick flick! Kelly said this always helped her out after a breakup. We weeped in agony as the boy left the girl because he had to move away from her.

I never really liked chick flicks but at the moment I did!

"Kelly that was the saddest movie i have ever watched',' i said, blowing my nose in a tissue.

"I know right! But it helps trust me!" said Kelly , eating the rest of her ice cream. We both looked like tramps. Our hair was all messed up and our eyeliner was smudged because of all the crying we did.

"Your results are coming tomorrow, are you nervous?" asked Kelly , sitting to face me.

"Really nervous. Im so nervous that i could puke right now!"

"Please dont! We dont want to become into a total hot mess!" We both started laughing.

"So miss.Kelly , are you dating anybody special at the moment? Its all been about my relationship , what about your love life?" I raised my eyebrows grinning at her in a weired way.

"Calm down pervert, i would tell you! So far Im in a relationship with Daniel. We met at one of the cheerleaders parties and ended up dancing with each other, it was magical!" Kelly clutched her hands together, her eyes twinkling as if she treasured that moment.

"Wait do you mean Daniel Watskins?The one with the amazing six pack?"

"Hell yeah! His body is heaven!"

I chuckled at the thought of that! Every girl falled for Daniel, he was the boy with the most perfect body in the whole school.

For the whole night we talked about boys and other girly gossip. It felt like old times, good times. I felt like everything was back in place , I was settled, I was happy ... right?

I woke up the next morning, doing my long morning stretch. Kelly was snoring away on the mattress on the floor. I got up brushed and washed my face. Then it clicked me , My results must be mailed by now! I ran in the hallway near the front door to find letters scattered on the door mat. I rummaged through them to find a big brown envelope saying my name and address on it. I sealed it open, my whole body shaking.

I couldnt believe it!!!! I did it !!! I actually did it !!! 7 A's and 1 B !! I achieved my goals ! I did it !

I smiled at the letter with my results on. I picked up the rest of the letter scattered across the floor , when I saw a letter with my name written on it in stubby writing. I recongnized that handwriting , it was from Drake.
