This is the ending you all DIDN'T vote for.

(10 years later)
(Max's POV)

"C'mon papa! I wanna go to Noah's!" My four year old son Zachary called from the front door.

"Hold on Zach I have to make sure everything is taken care of with your baby sister." I called back to him.

I turned back to my wife and she gave me a reassuring look.

"I got everything under control. This is my second baby after all."

"Okay. Love you. See you for dinner." I said.

I kissed her cheek and went to the front door where Zach was waiting impatiently.

"Finally!" Zach said annoyed.

"Hey! Watch your tone mister." I said sternly.

"Sorry papa."

"I forgive you. Now let's go. They are probably waiting for us."

I opened the front door and Zach raced to the car as I closed and locked the front door. I unlocked the car and got in while Zach got in the back seat. I started the car and drove off.

"Hey papa?"

"Yes Zach?"

"How long have you known Noah's dad?"

"I've known John for a long time now. We used to work together. And we-"

"No not that one. His other dad."

"Oh. You mean Jacob."

"Yeah. How do you know him papa?"

"He's actually your older brother."

"Really!?" Zach said intrigued and curious.

"It's a long story. Did you want to hear it?"

"Yeah!" Zach said excitedly.

I smiled and started to tell the story.

(10 years earlier)

"Max calm down. We all are worried about Jacob too. He's like family to all of us." Adam said.

"And besides, we know that you care about him a lot but it wouldn't hurt to relax a little." Red explained.

"You're right guys. It's just that I hope he comes back safely." I said.

We were brought to the police station by the cops from before. They had told us that they had news for us and will let us know soon. But it has been a half hour and still nothing.

"Max?" A familiar voice called from behind me.

I turned and saw Jacob with a couple of cops. Jacob immediately ran up to me and embraced me.

"I'm so glad you're safe. I was so worried." I said as tears fell from my face.

"I love you dad. I'm sorry to have worried you." Jacob said.

I looked at the cops who were watching us.

' Thank you. ' I mouthed to them.

The smiled and nodded their heads. Everyone from the offices came into the hug and we were like one big family. Reunited. At last.

(Six months later)

"Do you, John, take Jacob to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"And do you, Jacob, take John to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"You may now kiss the groom."

Cheers filled the chapel. As Jacob and John kissed, sealing their marriage. Granted there wasn't a full occupancy in the chapel but we sure made it sound like it was.

(Back to real time)

"Wow papa. You and Jacob went through a lot of crazy things." Zach said as we pulled up into their driveway.

"Yeah we sure did."

Jacob and John's kid, Noah, came running out as soon as he heard us pull into their driveway. Noah and Zach are the same age and are best friends. They basically do everything together.

"Hi Noah." I said.

"Hi Max! Hey Zach, C'mon I got a new game I want to show you." Noah said with enthusiasm.

"Okay!" Zach said.

Zach and Noah raced inside and went to Noah's room.

"I wish he had that kind of energy when it came to his chores." John said from the living room.

"Tell me about it." I said.

"Aw c'mon you two. They're kids, they are supposed to hate chores. I know I did at the orphanage." Jacob said.

John and Jacob were in the living room sitting in the couch next to each other.

"You didn't have a problem when you still lived with me." I said.

"That's because I never had chores." Jacob said laughing.

"Anyways. You ready to go?" I asked Jacob.

"Yeah. I just need to-"

"Go on. I'll be fine. I'll call you if anything happens." John said cutting Jacob off before he could finish.

"Okay. Love you." Jacob said kissing John.

"Have a good lunch you two." John said.

"Okay." Jacob and I said in unison.

We left the house and got in my car. We drove off to lunch like we do every other week. We arrived at the restaurant we always eat at and sat down at a table inside.

"You know that you changed my life ever since I adopted you." I said.

"I hope it was for the better." Jacob said jokingly.

"Yeah it was for the better."

"Same here. You made my life so much more fun. I love you dad.

"I love you too son."

Know that I've written the endings. I'm so sad that this is over. This was, by far, my favorite story to write. I'm so glad I got to meet a ton of new people through this series. And I'm glad that a bunch of people loved to read this as well. I loved interacting with you all through the comments and I loved all the comments I'd read about the story itself. Which is why I'm sad. I won't be able to write on this series anymore. I would be more than happy to start book 5 but I've run out of ideas to do for this series. I could do another adopted by ____ story (the ____ being who you want it to be from Sky media/ex-Sky media) as long as I get a lot of comments to do it and if I have many ideas to write for that story. Realistically, it will be about a month at most before I actually do a new story because I'd like to pour all my time into college and writing into Elementals, which if you haven't checked it out you really should because I'm sure you'll like it. If I am to do a new story I will be sure to let you all know what day I'll upload it through my profile message board. So be sure to follow me if you haven't already to receive notifications on any new story that I upload. Lastly I wanted to thank all you who have been loyal to this series and read it all the way through. You guys are amazing.

Love you all!
