Chapter 19

(Jacob's POV)

I stared blankly in front of me. No feeling. No emotion. No anything. I wanted to attack Josh but my body stayed still like I wasn't in control.

"Will you do as I say Jacob?" Josh asked.

Fuck no!

"Y-yes" I said barely audible.

No! I meant to say Noooooo!

"Good. I know you're trying to fight your way back in control but you can't. I own you now." Josh said.

You'll own nothing when I kill you, you piece of shit!

"Y-yes ma-ster"

Dammit! Why am I saying this shit!

Josh walked out of the room and I followed. I had no intention to follow him, or help with whatever he had planned.

"Come along now slave, we'll have visitors soon and we want to give them a warm welcome." Josh said.

"Y-yes m-master."

Can I stop saying that!?

(Max's POV)

"Any news?" Red asked.

"No, not yet. They said they would let me know when they find something out." I replied.

"Let's all hope they find Jacob." Barney said.

We all sat on the couch waiting for news on Jacob. It seemed like hours before there was knocking on the door. I got up and answered it. The policeman from before walked in along with his partner.

"We have news on Jacob's whereabouts." The policeman said.

"Really!? Where is he?"

"It is as we feared. He was kidnapped by the Illusionist again. But we do know where he is hiding out and we have a team ready to engage."

"Please save Jacob. Bring him back. Please." I pleaded.

"We will do all we can."

The policeman and his partner left and I locked the door as they left.

"He is with his kidnapper again?" Barney asked.

"Yeah." I said depressed.

"Max. There's... something I have to say." Barney said.

"Yeah? What is it?"

"Jacob remembers everything."

"Really!? That's wonderful John! Does he remember..."

"Yeah he remembers us as an item." Barney said cutting me off.

"That's amazing! But it sucks that he isn't here." I said.

"Yeah. Well I have hope that he will come back safe and sound." John replied.

(1 hour later)
(Cop POV)

"Kid! Kid! You don't have to do this. Just put the gun down." I said.

"He won't listen to you. He obeys me now. Jacob. Pull the trigger."

"Y-yes ma-master."

"Noooooo!"

I hate to break all your hearts with this cliffhanger ending, but I am going to take your already broken hearts and smash it into itty biddy pieces when I say next update is the final chapter, I do plan on updating the alternate ending you all didn't vote for but the next update is the ending you all voted blindly for.
