Hikaru's P.O.V.

As Boss waddles into his corner, I start to smirk.

Of course Haruhi and Harihu/Hirahu (this A/N used to be me asking whether or not I should change Harihu's name to Hirahu but just to clarify, she doesn't have two names, I'm giving you two options so you can say Haruhi and Harihu OR Haruhi and Hirahu. Whatevs u like) would shudder away from boss.

Though... would they.... From me... wait... w-why would I even need to think that!

I tried to think of how tomorrow would go down, so I can prepare myself for the uh....... no.. its too embarrassing to think of it as sadness or disappointment so I'll just use...... standoffishness.

Yeah! I'm preparing myself for the standoffishness of the girls tomorrow......~~~~~~~~~~~

"We're here." Haruhi and Harihu/Hirahu say in unison as they walk in. Boss walks over to them with roses but as usual, they deflect him in their usual calm and cute way.

Haruhi walks over to me and hands me a bento box. she brushes a strand of hair behind her ear, "I know it's not chocolate but I thought you would like it."

I smile bashfully and nod.

She smiles back and walks over to Kaoru. I thought she was going to give him the same  thing but instead she brought him a pumpkin carved into a carriage. He blushes, seeming to like it.

Harihu/Hirahu walks over to me. "Hey Hikaru."

"Hey," I answer back as nonchalantly as I can.

"you seemed pretty happy with Haruhi's gift to you I think I'll just go."

She turns to walk away but I grab her arm, "NO!"

She looks back, shocked. I look back, my bangs covering my eyes and red cheeks. I let go, "I... I mean... d-don't go."

She smiles, "unlike Kaoru's gift, I can't hand it to you but don't worry it'll make up for it."

She grabs my cheeks tenderly with her slim and soft hands, pulls her face towards mine and~~~~~~~~~~~

I blink only to find Harihu/Hirahu as close to me in reality as um.... that 'thought'. She's waving her hand in my face.

She looks back, "Kaoru are you sure he's ok?"

Kaoru doesn't respond. Harihu/Hirahu leans in closer as Haruhi tries to get a response from Kaoru.

Harihu/Hirahu touches my face with the same tenderness and blows on my ear.

"AAAHH! WHAT'D YOU DO THAT FOR?" I jumped up, shouting in shock.

"So you could respond," she shrugged. "Now for Kaoru."

She turns to him but I touch her shoulder to tell her to wait. "leave him," I tell her.

Kaoru is staring slightly at the window, deep in thought.

And I know just the thought too.....
