Blacked Out

Chapter 9

Harry's POV

Sitting in the Lobby of the Hospital was the most boring thing I have ever had to do in my entire life.

"Hey Harry, the lads and I are going to go grab something to eat. "Wanna join?" Louis asked me. My stomach was grumbling and I was beyond starving, but something was holding me back from joining them. I knew if I left, Ruby would wake up and not have anyone to talk to, except for that dick of a nurse, Fred... or whatever his name was. I had talked to him a few times and I could tell he felt someway about Ruby, and I didn't like it at all. I barely even knew her, but I had never had such strong feeling towards someone before.

"Nah, thanks mate but I think I am going to just grab something here." I told Louis. I was way too eager to see Ruby again and I'm sure Louis could tell.

"Well, we are all at the hotel next door. So just come on over whenever you are done drooling over her." He punched my arm and walked out of the hospital.

As soon as Louis left I sat back down on the couch in the lobby. There were several magazines on the table around me. I picked up the tabloid one closest to me. The cover was a picture of me walking into the hospital this morning. The title read 'Styles Blowing off World Tour?' I opened the tabloid to the page and nearly ripped the paper in half when I read the article. My heart sank when I read all the personal information about Ruby. I had no idea how the press got this information. The last thing Ruby needed was to worry about this. I walked towards the elevators to go to Ruby's room and threw away the magazine. I knew that destroying this magazine wasn't going to solve these problems, but I decided to at least pretend it was until I felt it was the right time to tell to her about it.

As I was walking towards Ruby's room I ran into that nurse Frank or whatever the hell his name was, that I didn't bother learning.

"Ah there ya are Harry. I was just looking for you." He spat.

"Well congrats Fred. You found me." I rudely replied.

"Finn." He cleared his throat.

"I don't care what your name is. Now get out of my way I'm going to Ruby's room. I assume that's why you came looking for me... She asked to see me didn't she?" I knew I was making him angry which was kind of my intention, His fists were clamped shut and I knew he was going to explode any second. I walked passed him and continued towards Ruby's room.

I'm really sorry this chapter sucked. I didn't have time to write a long one and I really needed to update because its been a long time since I've updated. I've been super busy with school and cheer and it sucks. I'm really sorry and I will try to post another short chapter tomorrow night! Please comment and vote ily you all so much! xx kate

LOL SARRY LAST THING: I changed my username it used to be @blackedout1d but now its @smileforlou I changed it because I am going to write more stories and when I first made the account I didn't realize I was going to like it this much and didn't even think I was going to post a story. So yeah... I am still the same person hehe
