Castiel kept a close eye on you for the next few days. If you needed anything or went anywhere he was like a puppy. You were driving to a gas station and Castiel appeared in the passenger seat. You jumped and almost crashed the van. He apologized and kept a watchful eye as you went inside to grab a hotdog.

Finally you snuck out of the house for a walk, making your way to a large tree. You climbed up a few small branches and sat on a huge arm of the tree. You took a deep breath in and smiled, beginning to sing a song that Matt had sang when you were 12.

"I thought I saw the devil this morning.. Looking in the mirror, drop of rum on my tongue... With the warning.. To see myself clearer... I never meant to start a fire.. I never meant to make you bleed... I'll be a better man today...

I'll be good, ill be good.. And I'll love the world like I should.. Ill be good, I'll be good for all the times that I never could.

My past has tasted bitter for years now... So I wield an iron fist, grace is just weakness... Or so I've been told I've been cold I've been merciless... But the blood on my hands scares me to death. Maybe I'm waking up.

I'll be good, I'll be good. And I'll love the world like I should. I'll be good, ill be good..." You sang until you finished the song. One tear slid down your cheek.

"(Y/N).." Someone said from behind you. You jumped and fell backwards, hitting a few branches on the way down. When you finally hit the ground a crack echoed through the woods. You tried to sit up, nothing felt wrong.

"(Y/N)!" Castiel yelled and jumped down in front of you. You grabbed his shoulder and pulled yourself up, falling into him. You tried to take a step, Castiel quickly pulled you against his chest.

"(Y/N) stop.. Your leg is broken. I need to heal you." Castiel said, picking you up bridal style. He sank to the ground and cradled you in his lap, gently placing his hand over where the bone was beginning to stick out of your leg. A light glowed from his hand and you relaxed in his arms. After a few seconds he pulled away and your leg was healed, though your pants were still torn. You smiled lightly up at him, tilting your head.

"How did you manage to... Not try to drink... My blood?" You asked curiously. He sighed, glancing at your bloodied pant leg.

"With much difficulty..." He smiled kindly, brushing a strand of hair out of your face.

"There's something.... Familiar about you.." You mumble, staring into his beautifully blue eyes. Castiel gently pulled your mouth to his, your lips barely touching in a tender kiss.

"No daddy!" You screamed as your father covered your small mouth with his.

You jolted and shoved Castiel away, regret painted his face.

"I am sorry..." He apologized before he disappeared, leaving you under the tree with a terrifying but sweet tingle on your lips.
