About 3 hours later you opened your eyes, locking them with Castiel's.
"How are you feeling?" He asked you, allowing you to pull yourself away.
"I'm fine... Where's Jay?" You asked, quickly noticing she was wasn't back. You leaped out of your bed and ran out the door, almost falling face first outside.
"(Y/N), what is it?" Castiel asked, now worried.
"How long have I been out?" You asked quickly.
"Three hours." Castiel told you.
"Its been three hours!" You exclaimed, pulling out your phone. 1 new voicemail. You clicked it and held it to your ear. The sound of footsteps and leaves crunching filled your head.
"Vamps." The voice whispered. The phone hit the ground and growling was heard before it went dead. You covered your mouth and grabbed your jacket, running outside. Castiel appeared in front of you, stopping you.
"Where are you going?" He asked, his eyebrows knitted together in concern.
"The closest place to here... In town.. Jay is in trouble, I can't just leave her!" You exclaimed before both you and Castiel flew into town.
"There... We'll find her." Castiel assured you as you ran into the gas station. The clerk looked up at you as you ran to him and held up a picture on your phone.
"Did this girl stop here?" You asked him quickly. He nodded slightly.
"Bought a drink from the freezer and some gas.." The clerk explained.
"Which way did she go when she left?" You asked him, breathing heavily.
"Went to the left.. Said she was buying bandages?" The clerk replied.
"Thank you." You muttered, running back outside. You grabbed Castiel's hand and ran a few blocks. You reached a small mart and saw someone calling, standing in front of your car. You ran up to him, panting.
"Hey! What are you doing?" You asked, slightly out of breath.
"I'm having this car towed, the girl driving it left without it." The man said.
"No!... It's my car!.... Did she leave with some people?" You asked, looking around you.
"Yeah... Four or five people.." The man replied, raising an eyebrow.
"Which direction?"
"Left... But be careful.. There have been animal attacks in the woods about half an hour away." He warned.
"Thank you so much." You said as you jumped into your truck.
"C'mon Cas!" You barked and Castiel appeared in the seat next to you. You grabbed the keys from in the center console and pulled out of the parking lot. Your breath grew faster as you drove, always at least 5 over the speed limit.
"(Y/N)... You need to control you breathing." Castiel told you, looking at you intently.
"I can't... I can't lose Jay... She's... She's my best friend.. I have to protect her..." You said, tears burning your eyes. Castiel sighed.
"Stop the car!" He exclaimed. You slammed on the breaks. Castiel touched your forehead and you were both teleported into the woods.
"Cas, I needed my machete!" You growled quietly. Castiel nodded and disappeared, allowing you to take in the surrounding area. Very distantly you barely heard the sound of music. You began walking as Castiel appeared next to you, handing you a long cloth case. You pulled the machete out and began walking toward the music. Castiel stayed right next to you.
Suddenly you were jumped by three vampires. One tackled you and quickly pinned your arms down. You kicked and struggled, managing to kick him in the groin. He growled, slashing you across the face. You reached to grab the machete, wrapping your fingers around the handle and decapitate him before he could pin you again. Castiel was being held down by two vampires.
"Cover your eyes, (Y/N)!" He demanded, you obeyed and in a few seconds Castiel was beside you. He touched your cheek, you grabbed his hand and wiped off the blood. He thanked you before touching your forehead, healing your cheek. You nodded and continued to walk toward the music. As you got closer you spotted at least ten vampires.
"(Y/N).... They know you're here... Let me deal with it... Keep your eyes closed." Castiel ordered gently. You nodded and closed them, holding tightly to your weapon. After a few minutes everything went silent. You were suddenly grabbed from behind, your eyes snapping open. Three more vampires surrounded you. You crouched slightly into a stance, circling them. One of them advanced forward and you swung the machete. They caught your hand and twisted the machete out. You cursed and pulled out the blade you always carried with you, slicing his head clean off with your left hand. You spun around and were face to face with another vampire. He threw you back into a tree as you sliced at his neck. You hit the tree, falling on your hands and knees on the ground. The vampire picked up your knife, slowly advancing over to you. When he stepped close enough you dove for your machete. You barely turned around as he was going for the stab. You cut his head off and he dropped to the ground on top of you, the blade piercing your stomach. You barely managed to crawl out from under him, keeping your machete in hand. You pulled the knife out of your torso, arming it in your left hand.
"There's something special about you.." The last vampire said, matter-of-factly. You snorted.
"No.. I mean it... That's what the girl was screaming about when I ripped her throat out." He hissed. You dropped to your knees, the blood seeping through your shirt.
"Bastard." You cursed, snarling up at him. He only laughed and got into a dark blue van.
"Catch ya later, hot stuff." He called, winking at you before he sped away. You barely pulled yourself up against the tree, tears coming to your eyes from the strain.
"J-Jay!" You called.
"C... Cas!..... Castiel!" You yelled, swaying and forth before collapsing. Before you hit the ground Castiel caught you, sitting you upright against him.
"(Y/N).. I'm so sorry..." Castiel apologized gently, taking a few seconds to heal your wounds. He pulled you up as you began walking to the house. You had both your knife and machete at the ready in case any more vampires attacked. You looked through the rooms of the small, cabin-like house. Finally you found the steps of the basement, the bottom black. You flipped on the light and saw the blood splattered on the floor. You ran down the steps, freezing when your eyes land on Jay. You called out to her, your world seeming to go into slow motion as you fell to your knees and pulled her small form into your lap. You began crying violently, begging Castiel to heal her. He put two fingers to her forehead. When nothing happened, traitorous tears invaded his eyes.
"She's gone.."
(I'm so sorry Jay, don't hate me XD)
