Chapter 14

Over the next two weeks you and Jay had become friends. She relaxed around you and became a dorky friend that you came to love. The two of you giggled and laughed at stupid jokes and chatted about each other's lives. One day Crowley had walked in on you doing your hair and laughing with Jay. He became furious.

"What's a handmaiden for if she doesn't do her bloody job?!" He growled at Jay who began cowering. He waved his hand and pinned her against the wall, making her unable to breathe. You jumped over and grabbed his arm. He threw you backwards, and it reopened the wound on your head. You groaned and stood back up, going after him as he finally let Jay drop, barely breathing. You stopped and ran to her.

"Looks like the mutt needs to learn her place... So does the jaybird." Crowley snarled, snapping his fingers and sending you two into a cell where you were isolated from anyone else. You jumped up to the door and all you could hear were distant screams.

"I... I'm so sorry (Y/N).." Jay apologized, which made you shake your head. You sat down next to her and gently rubbed her back.

"No... Don't blame yourself... We're both still alive and my friends will come." You promised.

Two days later you finally heard sounds other than screaming as a bright light continually flashed outside the cell.

"(Y/N)!" Called a voice you knew was Castiel's.

"Cas!" You called back, grabbing Jay's hand and and moving her to the door. Castiel quickly found your door and was next to you without hesitation. He almost jumped on you, hugging you tightly. You cried tears of joy and hugged him back, bringing Jay into it. Castiel quickly disappeared with you two back to Bobby's. Sam, Dean, and Bobby all stood up at the same time.

"(Y/N)!" Sam and Dean yelled at the same time. They both ran and hugged you before you pulled back and motioned to Jay. She waved awkwardly, rubbing her arm.

"This is Jay.. Crowley took her from her home... And she's staying with me..." You explain, hugging her tightly. Sam and Dean chuckled but embraced both of you, Castiel hanging in the back. You smiled and had Castiel take you and Jay to your hotel room.

"Are you sure there are no injuries?" Castiel asked, worried for the both of you. Jay shook her head. You did the same and pulled him into a tight hug.

"Thank you for saving us, Cas..." You mumbled and moved up before you left a light kiss on his cheek. You immediately turned his head to you, confusion clear on his face. You chuckled and smiled before you turned away and told Jay you were going to take a shower then sleep.

"Bye Cas!" Jay called just as Castiel disappeared.
