Castiel began screaming. He screamed as loud and as hard as he could, breaking into violent sobs as he did. The two angels holding him threw him forward, allowing him to collapse in front of you.

"I'm so sorry..... I'm so sorry, (Y/N)." He sobbed. With a snap of Daniel's fingers Castiel and your body were back on Earth. Castiel picked up your limp and warm body, crying into your shirt. He had failed you.

When he finally pulled himself together he flew to Bobby's. He collapsed around your body, Dean having to help him up.

"Cas? What happened?" Sam asked, tears flooding his eyes.

"The angels... They... They murdered her.." He said, bitterness taking control of his voice. Sam kneeled down and grabbed your now cold hand. Dean sat Castiel down on the couch just as Jay ran in. When she saw them around your body she fell to her knees, covering her mouth as she began to sob uncontrollably. Dean kneeled in front of her, pulling her to his chest and rocking her back and forth. A single tear fell down Dean's cheek as he rocked her. Bobby grabbed his bottle of scotch and took a large swig, now angry.

"This is what you call holy you sons of bitches?!" He yelled at the sky.

"Killing an innocent girl is your righteous path?! Well fuck you and your heaven!" Bobby snarled, shaking an angry fist. Sam's face was wet with tears as he picked up your body.

"We... Should give her a proper hunter send off." He whispered, walking toward the door. Castiel flew in front of him, holding him back by his shoulder.

"If anyone burns her body... I will smite you." Castiel growled, setting his jaw. Tears fell down his face as he flew into the middle of the car yard. He punched a car, leaving a deep fist sized hole in the metal. He destroyed what he could before collapsing backwards and sobbing again. He had truly loved you. Nephilim or not you were special to him. Dean and Sam were his family... But you were his soul mate. Even if he didn't have one. He sat up and grabbed the flaps of his trench coat, beginning to scream in agony.

A few hours later Dean went to check on him.

"Cass?" He called, walking into the ruin that Castiel had created. Castiel was gone.
